Why was it okay for VC to save Sai from Jagtap and marry her for protecting her and not okay for Mannat to fight for Vikrant and help him get out of this sham marriage?

What Jagtap was doing is same as Malla did... he held Sai at gunpoint.. and Malla lied to Vikrant ... in both cases theres no consent from either Sai or Vikrant...

VC succeeded in saving Sai... Mannat couldn't...

But Vik too is being held at an invisible gunpoint.. forced into this... it was perfectly alright for Mannat to not interfere when she believed he had a ONS... but when she knows the truth... why shouldn't she save him??? Especially since he doesnt know at all...

Logic makes sense but only reason its annoying is because Sai was a 18yo and not strong enough physically or mentally ir financially to fight JM.

Vikrant is grown adult, w Money power and authority, he is in this situation mainly cause of his own stupidity and is refusing to open his eyes to this situation despite Mannat telling him things directly.

If show opened with this- yes fine, he had no idea. But there have been various tracks to establish Mannat is proven right many times

Part that annoys me most is he is oblivious to what is happening to Mannat since she associated w SM n Mezbani

Drink spiking, The attempts to kill her, accidents, now same drink spiking happen again and he draws no association to past. Just blindly believe what he is told.

Before Malla said Mannat doesn’t drink, no back thought on it. Why Shruti is suddenly ok? Who gave her liver? Did Mannat found her mither relative? Who gave money for surgery? He is putting no thought into it.

Biggest issue- BObby track showed his family is capable of lying to what extent when it comes to reputation, and Mannat can fight for a stranger w all her might w no ill intrest- still not an ounce of doubt that why she is doing this?? His mom again caught plotting against Mannat! Again Mannat is drunk n creating scene- can this be someone from family??

If they show some independent thinking from him it is justified but he is running like a puppet- Malla said thi, Mom said that, daddy said this. He is operating more like VC post pregnancy track n leap. Dont use brain, run on whats fed by PL and Elders. He may not solve it, but atleast show some contradicted thinking instead of him blindly believing Mannat drink, is gold digger etc etc. Thats not fitting well after months of seeing other tracks.

The way show has progressed is like More he knows less he trusts her - just like lost- and this is done to keep PL relevant. No point otherwise.

Only difference and respite I get is- Adnan n Vikrant are showing difference in their treatment of PL and FL. We dont see him all affectionate and caring n touchy w PL behind closed doors. So that is ok. Hope that stays atleast.

Main difference being he doesn't know the truth about PL and trusts her blindly since he doesn't use his brain cells vs no Trust on Mannat in spite of calling her the love of his life.

Like I said in my other post, ignorance cannot be an excuse everytime if you choose to not see what is happening in front of your eyes. He has been shown this way from the very beginning of the show. Mannat told him Shalini spiked her coffee and did not want to take this thing further, he did not even for a second think, why would Shalini do this? What would she get by getting Mannat dismissed? The same with freezer kaand again. Mannat said to let the issue go but as her employer what steps have you taken to make sure your employee is safe when the life threatening incident happened on your premises. He is a grown man who supposedly has taken his family business to new heights.

To me Vikrant is like a frog in a well who doesn't want to see beyond his version of things. He has seen his mother attempt suicide to make sure a rapist goes Scott free, uses such crass language to abuse others and do all kinds of kaands but she is still the most innocent soul, because it matches his version.

Same with Mannat, he never really trusted her. So one word from her asking money and he believed her. For me trust is more important than love in a marriage. He trusts Malla. I know what she has done is a crime and she should be punished for it. Mannat might bring out proofs as well to prove that Malla lied about ONS. But the most important question, will he believe Mannat? Or will Malla cry fake tears and will he believe her and blame Mannat for trying to break his so called marriage? Because the way Vikrant's character arc is written this seems more plausible to me. Sorry for the rant but I am coming to despise Vikrant's character as much as I despised V in lost. I cannot get myself to make anymore excuses to like Vikrant. I love the chemistry between Ayesha and Adnan and they are fab together on screen, but personally I feel Mannat is better off alone.

Bold, this is something I am expecting will happen and with lot of insults from him and his family 😭. If he wasn't the victim here like Shalini I would have never wanted Mannat to involve herself in any ways, sadly he is a dumb victim

Loved your analysis. I feel that Vikrant is trapped in the Ericksons stage of trust Vs Mistrust. As a child he lost his parents and the salujas fed him a story that gave him comfort. That has become his sweet spot. He chooses to believe what they say over what he sees and now the conflict is between what they say and what he feels.

Vikrant was molly coddled in the guise of affection and care and was kept closely guarded so that he doesnt stumble on his truth. Mannat with her fiercely independent streak came as a whiff of fresh air and swept him off his feet. She exerts her HAQ on him yet the Salujas and Raisinghs are playing their games craftily to see that he doesnt break free and remains in his disillusioned state.

He chooses family and friends over love and is raised to protect them. When he perceived the truth of Bobby 1 he did not hesitate to take a stance to do what is right. Took Shalini as his sister and promised to protect her. The same in the case of Anu he spoke to nikhil and his family nudged by Mannat who has begun to shape his thought process.

He terms the ONS as a sin and asserts he can never ever give Mannats place to anyone in his life. Yet coerced by his parents to treat her as an ajnabi he is confused.

His family will feed him certain ideas and he will abide by their values. Vikrant has been a victim of circumstances raised to believe that you trust your family under all circumstances .

Mannat was a victim too born as a bin maangi Mannat yet Shruti made her life mission to shower love on Mannat without attaching any strings to operate through her and have her way. She has raised Mannat to stand up for what is right even if the world is against her. This is the stark difference between Mannat and Vikrant and knowing her true mom has made Mannat stronger to fight back whereas Vikrant weakened by the lied and drugs already will be shattered when he learns his true identity of Aman.

Vikrant has been making foolish judgements trusting the wrong people yet he is not an evil soul. His family and friends are his weakness .

Looks like OG kidnapping loading of Mannat by Malla & Vikrant trying to save her but tied by Malla...may be...
