And this is exactly why I didn't want Ramayana being made into a movie. First it's difficult to do justice and then people forget that they are disrespecting Lord Ram because they are so lost in their fanwars.

I didn't mean any disrespect. Archery is a sport today too. Everyone knows how to hold a bow and arrow. So the first glimpse of Lord Rama should be accurate.They may have researched more,there are so many ,nuances,so many interpretations. There is a Ramcharitra Manas too. Where we are introduced to Luv Kusha.

What you said in this post, you could have said in previous post too when you quoted me. There wasn't any need to wonder if Ram-ji had twisted wrist. One can express their disappointment in makers without being rude to Lord Ram.

RK/Yash pe rote ja rahe hai sab....but truthfully Sunny Paaji is going to steal the show. Ram is the protagonist, Raavan is the antagonist but Hanuman is the HERO of Ramayana.

The peak plot points, especially those that would translate to a larger than life cinematic experience/Action are all focused on Hanuman. Whether it's finding Sita, saving Lakshmans life, leading the army/building the bridge, burning Lanka down. It's for a reason that they chose the GOAT action hero to implement the scenes that will bring the theatre's down even with the age difference.

It makes sense for the same character to play Lord Vishnu and Lord Rama......unless the character of Lord Vishnu has a very big role..like in Devon ke Dev Mahadev....there Lord Rama was played by another actor.

Most of the members who don't like Ranbir are still very respectful ....unlike this member who is making her hatred for Ranbir prevail over her better sense.......aisa bhi kya hate karna bhai....
