First of all, you are going with the assumption that irfan, PC, and Aishwarya had the offer or nomination and rejected it. We don’t know that. Did Irfan ever have a big enough fan base to even be nominated? Do you really think PC would turn done any opportunity for PR and publicity? The only reason she would have turned this down is if the rumors of money problems are true. Aishwarya is the only one who is likely to have turned it down for lack of interest, presumably.

Second of all, let’s assume you are right and Irfan, PC, and Ash did turn it down. That still doesn’t negate the fact that Deepika will be the first Indian celebrity to actually get the star. Simple logic

we say this coz this is hollywood walk of fame and not enough brain cells can gather to make sense of anything substantial dp has done in hollywood to land a spot there..she had one atrocious XXX..irrfan, aish and PC have all done far more and superior work in hollywood

You don’t have to be a Hollywood actor to get a star. You just have to be a celebrity. That’s why Trump has one too, and Gordon Ramsay, and Mickey Mouse. There are also athletes and Broadway stars. This is not restricted to Hollywood actors and actresses.

What superior work have PC and Ash done? Baywatch and The Last Legion?

Has anyone considered the possibility that Deepika is getting her star for her status in India and not for XXX?

My neighbour now knows that Deepika got a star. EVERYONE Knows!

Deepika always has her haters to thank for,for amplyifying everything she does to the skies.

Everyone now knows what money she demands for a film. That she demanded fair working hours for new mothers.Thanks to Poor Vanga,Now everyone knows! When Deepika spoke about it to Anupama,years ago..no one cared.The nasty clickbait headlines are read by more people than fawning ones-which scream PR.

Deepika has a scary PR,which has done exceptional work for her.They don't pay a penny to media handles though. I believe it is a masterstroke.

Deepika getting is surprising of course for she hasn’t done anything substantial in Hollywood.PC surely seems more deserving given how she’s done more work there.Irfan may not have gotten it because he isnt that popular.Aish deserved it more than others but not now..maybe during her prime days when she was more active.

But saying others must have rejected is just another presumption.As LoveBolly rightly pointed out someone like PC would never ever(that’s also my assumption)leave such a chance.
