I knew Aamir Khan is the best Khan, when I had watched Dil Chahta hai and years later Secret superstar. These films where he isn't the main lead or only main lead, he's still iconic and have memorable screen presence. So was his presence in Gajhni, that movie being a remake of an iconic movie still became iconic.

People who really question him or his credibility surely have insecurities regarding their favorites.

It's the task of the producer to give credit which would be - according to your list - reduce SRK's responsibility to MHN and CC. The task then would be analysing the content of the respective movies to see in which way your accusation of plagiarising is correct.

As for the other movies, the accusation should be researched in the same way and one could look at all the movies of t h o s e production houses to accuse them then of plagiarising.

Aamir, of course, should not be a c c u s e d of doing the 4th or 5th (?) remake of Campeones... but one could very well question why he did it

bold: If t h a t would be right, it would also be valuable for those who question other high profile actors/actresses (for example you just assuming that "Aamir Khan is the best Khan" as your personal impression should be the standard to look at his colleagues with the same family name )

Aamir in his position as a p r o d u c e r decided to do this "4th remake of Campeones", SRK in his position as an a c t o r agreed to get casted as Devdas.

In addition, I only 'accused' (actually rejected) when Aamir got praise/credit for the c o n t e n t of SZP by whoever... the content is by nobody else then the original content makers (Wikipedia tells you the names). As for Devdas, the content maker is the writer whose novel got adapted, although throughout different adaptations on screen with different interpretations/use... "Devdas" has become a kind of trope a bit in the way Romeo & Juliet have become one.

LSC was based on a novel Forest Gump and it's a remake.

Aamir is not credited for the content you are making this up.He is credited for producing the film on such topic.

Still, it was a personal perception, MiVida's and your's, too...these are not facts. Personally, I wouldn't have named - of all Aamir movies - two where he was rather weak also in my impression. Aamir has proved his acting prowess in other movies - he has nothing to prove on this field, at least not to me. His filmography has all kind of movies, lightweight ones, meaningful ones, questionable ones. SZP - without any doubt - belongs to those worth a watch (even though I couldn't see it yet). But I know the original and I'm quite sure, he didn't mess up.
