cannot imagine this being made in BW now..that was peak BW..good movies..real stories..no india pak stuff..good talent and good stories..Kabir khan needs to make more movies like these

Agreed totally 💯..

One of YRF's finest films over the last 15 years or so....

I often feel, that John having a well-developed backstory as they showed here in New York, would've worked wonderfully well for his character in Pathaan....

But of course, by 2023, Bollywood and YRF became extremely LAZY, so we got that 1 minute scene in Pathaan quickly showing John's backstory....

Your comment reminds me of "Let's play a game" thread that we used to play in Bollywood Hungama forums in 2011..can not believe it has been 14 years.I remember you liking the movie ..

Pathaan would have done much better with a solid backstory of John ..The emotional arc was not that strong otherwise the film would have gone to next level .
