Pyaar ki nishani" is just an ITV marketing line lol. Not every child is some “pyaar ki nishani”. That’s just a filmy, dramatic way ITV sells couples. In real life, not all divorced or not look at their kid and go “aww, our love.” For many women, a child can actually be a reminder of a bad marriage or a toxic husband. So this “every baby is love’s memory” thing is just not true for everyone.

Now about Abhira and Armaan — 100% agree. There was no actual love between them. It was always about obsession, insecurity, and wanting validation. Abhira was constantly trying to prove herself — first to Vidya, then to Armaan. She didn’t want a baby out of love, she wanted it to feel accepted and worthy. Armaan was just obsessed with having a “real blood”. People calling Maira their “pyaar ki nishani” is wild, because like… what pyaar?? There was never any genuine, deep love there. It was LUST.

Maira being born through surrogacy is not the issue. The problem is why she was born — out of their broken need to prove something, not out of actual care for each other or a healthy bond. That’s why it’s annoying when people romanticize her existence. No hate to Maira obviously, but she’s not some sacred symbol of love. She’s just the result of their poor choices, obsession with “apna khoon,” and emotional immaturity.

I have taken Pyaar ki nishaani to mean that the child is a reminder of what they loved about their partners & more so if that child is wanted and loved. Looking at the child, any partner should always feel happy and remember good times - even if the couple is no longer together. That's why kids are pyaar ki nishaani even for divorced and seperated couple to think of the love that couple shared in the past

As of now Armaan is shown to feel that Maira is a mini version of Abhira only & he fondly remembers his to be ex wife whenever he sees his daughter & is happy with that feeling, despite being the one to seperate his child from her mother & the reason why Abhira is so traumatized. That still doesn't take away the fact that even today for both Armaan & Abhira, Maira is their pyaar ki nishaani. Even if people would like to think otherwise.

Armaan once felt janam janam connection with daksh, and told abhira she is not mother of their "pyar ki nishani" when he was supposed to be in love with her, now out of no where seeing abhira in the kid.

Taking armaan's words seriously is like believing daksh is bsp.

No. Kids are not always pyar ki nishani for divorced couple.

It's not about surrogacy or anything. Maira was born because her parents wanted to prove to the world they can have their own child by blood not out of love. If their love is enough they would have never gone for surrogacy just after multiple failures of IVF and previous kid's loss.
