You are more likely to die in a car accident than a plane crash. But the odds of surviving a plane crash are quite low. And there's worse like what happened to those people in the Andes . Having to eat each other. The guy who survived the Air India one lost his brother . It must be awful to live with that guilt.

We have a cousin who survived a car crash. He was with his friend, driving through Mumbai where they worked. They were having a good time ; had met after a gap of three months. A truck hit them out of nowhere When he came to ,he realised people were trying to get him out of the wreckage and his friend was dead in the next seat. It was gory. He went insane. Recovered a bit after a couple of years but never worked since. He feels responsible for the friend's death because he had suggested that they meet up .

I am sorry that happened to your cousin. The survivor’s guilt must have struck him really hard, even though it was not his fault, but guilt can eat you up while you have to live with it. The sole survivor of this plane crash was probably very lucky, I mean one in a million have such luck I believe, but to think that that man has to live with this trauma his whole life, he might recover from it, but I do think he would need some therapy to come out of it, on top of it he lost his brother. The pain of living with that feeling is not easy, I guess the survivor’s guilt would surely follow through as soon as his physical injuries recover 😓😓 But this is a second chance at life, hope he gets better soon. I hope your cousin is happy and healthy too.
