It was a mush mash of scenes but on a lighter note than Friday’s chunri build up so I enjoyed it.

Like Coolmeg and others I’m still captivated by Adnan’s depth of portraying heartbroken Vikku, and am overlooking the complete illogicality of Vikku continuing with this plan.
Mannat is bound by loyalty, to her best friend and also her BKB and tells him this clearly. I feel some of what she said registered and that’s why he has the conversation in the gym with Malla about when they tell the family it was all a ruse (forget the part of hurting Malla). He feels it’s time to come clean that Malla isn’t actually his fiancée, thereby Mannat is freed from feeling she’s betraying her friend and can confess her own feelings for him. In his lovelorn mind it’s that simple, although he recognises that ARS won’t be happy and Malla will face her wrath hence the ‘hurting Malla’ part of his conversation. He doesn’t appear to have given much thought to Neetu’s tantrums and insults towards Mannat nor how he will overcome his mother’s hatred. With the Aman revelation just round the corner his own relationship with his mother will break down so I feel writers aren’t wasting too much time in Vikku’s introspection of Neetu’s/Mannat relationship 😂

But back to the illogical part, he is going to be gullible and trust Malla over his own convictions, somehow Malla will persuade him to carry on with the plan in tomorrow’s episode. But as a consolation we get the cocktail party dance and the mystery of where Vikku spent the night and with whom.

The side plot of Mannat after ARS is fun to watch but again so unrealistic ….. I feel it’s only hatched up to achieve whatever goals they have for Vikrant/Aman/drugging plot being played out. And obviously have Mannat in SM and focus elsewhere so as to be able to switch off and distance herself from Vikrant’s advances.

Absolutely loved Mannat’s reply to ARS to her gold-digging taunts, but it’s registered.
I liked your comment Moor, that actually Mannat should realise that as it’s ARS it should mean the exact opposite and ARS is only out to protect her ‘daughter’s interest, so in fact Vikrant isn’t actually toying with Mannat.

Looking forward to the cocktail party dance and the nights memory loss…..

Another light hearted episode, and yes @Uma I enjoyed the lollipop they threw us too, unbuttoned-shirt Adnan is better than frilly shirt Adnan any day. And the reverse button stitching was fun too, seeing him still so delulu in love and Mannat frustrated he’s getting in the way of her grand letter dropping mission!

But at least we’ve arrived at Vikku’s wanting to call off the fake engagement, as I mentioned yesterday, bold. He can see his plan is hurting Miss Mannat !!
But unfortunately Mannat interrupted his telling the family, by which time Malla egged him to carry on with the plan as Mannat was jealous of not being invited to the cocktail party. A not so happy Vikku agreed to let Mannat come to the party much to Malla’s relief, and doesn’t look like he tells the family of the hoax 💍

Cocktail party and Vikku’s lost memory will be worth watching now tomorow.

ViMal convo where Vik is worried for Malla out of her concern for her true friendship. He decides to come out in open and call off the entire thing. Malla again manipulates him that she is fine to take scrutiny and bashing from the family for his sake. Surely ARS will panic and scold her but thats fine. Itna to Kar sakti hun. Vik is not okay but thanks her reluctantly. Doesnt want to hurt Mannat. He thinks Mannat will confess tonight. Anyway the plan is for few more days.

Malla talk to self ki ye nakli shadi Asli ho jayegi. I have guilt trapped Mannat so much that she won't ever confess to you.

In his room Vik is getting ready and finally voices what the FD has been saying "Kitna idiot hai tu".

He realizes they were at a good place and Mannat was a friend to him but he fought with her unnecessarily and is now doing a fake shadi. Wants to end it.

Ye sab convo hone tak Mannat has only climbed the few steps to ARSs room 🤦‍♀️. The room is locked and she hears footsteps... so obviously apne future bedroom main jaati hai jaha she bumps into one button tucked partly freshly showered future husband. 😂

Embarrassed Mannat realizes he has an open shirt and hides her face. Vik is delirious... he teases her and flirts with her.. thinking she came to meet him. Mannat replies she came to ask if he needs anything for the party. He says chahiye mujhe bahot kuch. Looks down at the button which came off. Mannat then spots the letter behind him. She is distracted by the letter he thinks she is distracted by his body 😆

He asks her to sew the button as a favour since he had done it for her. Mannat doesn't know how to thread a needle. Vik teases her again. Pulls her closer (that was very hot 🔥).

Teaches her how to sew. Lord Sniferton is also back. Wants the teeth se thread cutting wala thing. Closes his eyes imagining it and Mannu babe uses a scissor 😝😝😝

He turns around and sees the letter. Mannat is worried and she grabs it from him saying its party related. He tells her that she is lying. This was a bahana to meet him. They overhear Neetu and Mannat runs away.

In between this Ravinder has arranged for the flouroscent powder for ARS and she mixes it with some sindoor. IF ka article part where Mannat declares to herself she won't be affected by Vikkus proximity or his talks... her target is ARS. She bumps into the house staff and sindoor falls. He panics and she helps him collect it. ARS is looking from the sides. Happy

Mannat Shalini are going over their plan and decide to strike again as the letter gor crumpled. Thye hear a knock and its the same house staff telling Mannat Vik has refused her entry to party. Mannat is upset but decides she will go by hook or crook.

Vik comes to Mallas room and says I want to end this immediately... Mannat is getting hurt and I dont want that. Malla panics which he interprets as her worry for being scolded. He tells her I will take all the blame and you need not worry. Malla tries to stop .. he doesnt.

RS members are sippin tea and Ronnie decides to take everyone out for dinner at mezbani so that kids can enjoy. Neetu Keerat want to stay but they manage to convince. Taklu Dadu and Gagan ka unnecessary tashan. But its agreed that ARS will stay back. Gagan taunts her too 😝

Vik comes downstairs and tells everyone he has something to say about the wedding. Malla comes running behind him. Mannat interrupts him and asks to be allowed for the party. Same as BTS. Vik says jarurat nahi hai but Malla is jumping with joy every time she hears best friend ki shaadi. 🤦‍♀️

Vik reluctantly allows her when Mannat insists too much.

Ronnie asks what he was about to say but then Vik just looks sadly.

Episode ends.

There's a difference between Bobby and Vikrant.

Vikrant at this point is teasing and flirting... not assaulting without consent.

Bobby assaulted Shalini because he was desperate... he didnt necessarily bother if it was Mannat or Shalini... just a woman. 🙄

Bobby is also married ...

Mannat has that much sanity to understand the difference between Bobby and Vikrants intentions. She has developed a bond with him and reacts to him in that sense. Whereas she was skeptical of Bobby right from the beginning.

She is not accepting his proposal because of the obvious manipulation Malla has played on her. Not because she thinks Vikrant is a two timer and adulterer.

It's not a fair comparison for Vikrant but its even more problematic for Mannat to be thought of as this stupid and naive. She clearly is much more intelligent than to be fooled like this.
