Tbh I've been trying to write a review on the chapter since morning nd i still don't find appropriate words to describe how i felt while reading it. So i got frustrated at one point and left it and relaxed reading the last 2 chapters again.

>> Understand totally. I keep writing, deleting, rewriting the same scene - sometimes ten times too. At times, it flows naturally, at times I've to break head against the wall smiley19

And see now its already 1 am. 🤦 This is what you do to us with your writing. Time ka pata hi nahi chalta.

I've so many things to say so many instances to quote and yet words won't come to me. You make me speechless and the girl who has opinion on every single thing be it good or bad sits here reading PBD with zero thoughts and opinions lost in just experiencing their journey and feeling it.

>> I can't decide making you speechless is good or badsmiley37 I need to hear back from you so its bad in a way but glad that at least your mind is settled while reading

Lets start from the villian - Rao a snake in the disguise of a friend. Why is always the close ones that hurt you the most? And now he's feeling guilty? Why the guilt now when he didn't even blink an eye before cheating and killing Jo's parents? Is it even guilt or is it the fear of getting caught? And he blames it on Shyam kumar's manipulation. Do people really get manipulated to such an extent ki saalon ki dosti bhul jaye ? Aise dost hone se achha akele rhe jaye.

I feel so angry and at the same time so broken even thinking about Jo having to face this truth.

>> As third party audience we can afford to be all moral and question people's choices, but what we do if we are thrown into same situation is a million dollar question! There is a saying in Telugu that translates to - 'Everyone is good as long as no testing situation arises.'

Now coming to bade papa and ma, god bless everyone with such parents. I was in awe of the lady's thought process. Though i did get a bit upset when she proposed her nephew's rishta but then even I am a bua i totally understand her. But the way she thought everything through not giving into the temptations and the way she thought of her daughter's well being and giving her the freedom to live her life instead of burdening her with her late father's wishes is really really appreciated.

>> yep.. simple woman with simple wishes for her daughter. Not into unnecessary mahaanta smiley36

Like you mentioned bade papa is in a fix right now but still looking at your daughter sneaking out with some1 no matter in what situation would give any father high bp.

>> what should he do instead? Scream and fume and drag her home? If she was an adolescent and Jalal was a roadside Romeo it'd have made sense for him to get high BPsmiley37

But I understand where he comes from where nothing matters more than his daughters security. I think his cool response was also because somewhere he wished for jodha to have the strong backing of the Ahemads.

>> I hinted at him having some clue into Jodha's feelings. And when Jalal made it his mission to save Jodha he must have had some insight into his feelings too. He's a worldly man, uper se advocate... which is also why his reaction was laidback.

Usman Saab's retrospections and that one line where he thinks of taunting Jalal with the "I told you so" line.. god that hit hard. Him acknowledging his son's mistakes and accepting that his son was also in the wrong maybe not wholly but even if a little bit shows the kind of a person he is.

>> Usman is a practical man. Anyone with their head over their neck will not judge without seeing both sides.

In this era where no parent accepts that their child especially boys could be wrong he not only accepted his child's mistake

>> that's concerning if parents are thinking and acting like their children are infallible. As parents we ourselves are seriously flawed! How could our children be flawless?smiley29

but also stood by him supporting him instead of reminding him of the times when he had warned him time and again.

The Romance, the dance, the spanking and the care with which he cleaned her feet was just WOW.

>>smiley43

"A sensible person like jalal sneaking out his daughter from right under his nose." This had me cracking while imagining the shock on bade papas face. Yeh pyaar kya kya karne pe majboor karte hai nahi? 😂

>> lol... that's sweet majboori though! if not for these sweet moments what is there to reminisce as we grow older?

The whole jo ja portion was really really sweet. How i wish there was a training centre for all boys and the headmaster was ours truly Jalal Ahemad. He needs to come outta fiction and teach these guys something.

>> Or as mothers we can teach our boys smiley2 I don't have one though so I can volunteer for your sons smiley36

There's more to say but this is already too long. Plus idk if half the things I wrote make sense coz i'm already half asleep while typing this. So this is me signing off.

Lots of love

Manu

Yes of course it makes sense! Thank you for sacrificing your sleep and penning your thoughts... take care smiley31

I can totally relate to this... In Engineering first year we had Electronic Drawing - my nightmare subject. ED lab would be in afternoon and I used to go home for lunch (my Engg. college is close to my home).Whenever it rains I'd skip going back to college, especially on ED lab days and sit at home reading (revising) old Telugu novels. Rain, novel and corn (bhutta) - mast combination

Oh no no it was not me sacrificing my sleep it was more like me sacrificing my re-reading. So no need for thanks. If you are taking so much efforts to write for us its our duty to take little effort and pen down our thoughts too.

Subject: Important Update Regarding Your Deadline smiley16

Dear Author in Chief of Pale Blue Dot,

After carefully reviewing our recent exchanges (nd a minor identity crisis upon realizing I cant read calendars properly) I must correct the deadline I originally gave for Chapter 44 Part 2. I had said July 13.. but that was a mix-up on my part

Effective immediately.. the deadline has been preponed to June 13

We hv moved things up by a month.. because here at the Department of reader needs nd wants .. we take story updates very srsly

As ur unofficial nd self declared Boss of PBD Deadlines .. I feel it’s my duty to keep things on track and readers well fed with updates smiley14

Ur prompt attention to this matter will be rewarded with collective squealing.. emotionally charged comments on the thread.. and possibly more nostalgic nd lovely reels smiley31

Failure to comply will result in ... (Surprise smiley15)

Wishing u plenty of inspiration and peaceful writing time with minimal distractions.

Warm regards

Director of desperation

CEO - Where's the Update? Inc.

(I hv srsly lost it)
