I love this chapter so much! There's something fairytale -ish about it. Very bollywood Rom com coded. And this phase of love story is my favourite but you truly do it so beautifully

It's so nice to see the dynamics of ahmad household and that jalal's parents get to see their son moving out from the shadows of the things that happened in his life before.

You have such astute insights in the human psyche!! because this shyam kumar is very convincing. But while he is bitter about the system being corrupt and people being apathetic, he is more bitter about not being able to be corrupt and enjoy those perks. If he were rich, he would still be the same since it's clearly the mentality that Makes him a villain and not his poverty.

Also in Rao we have an example of how a little streak of envy could take such hideous form. I'm not convinced that he is manipulated as much as he claims since he could have stopped at any point of time and he did not even after seeing the consequences first hand.
