I tried to watch Tooth Pari because I enjoy watching supernatural shows very much. But this show didn't click with me at all. So, I couldn't watch all the episodes. I only watched two episodes of the show. Tanya is beautiful though. She has nice, big eyes.

My thoughts:

You is back on track! Season 5 is definitely good! In fact, it's as interesting as season 1, 2 and 3. Season 5 restored my interest in You which died after watching season 4. The chapter of London ended with season 4. Joe Goldberg now lives in his own country, the USA like before. He has fallen in love again. I'm not surprised at all. smiley36 The new love interest has an ulterior motive. Now that's interesting. Henry is back! smiley41 He was a baby when Joe left him outside his friend's doorstep at the end of season 3. Now Henry is kid and lives with Joe and his wife, Kate.

My interest in watching a spin-off based on Henry

Season 5 is the final season of You. Will there be a spin-off? I don't know. But if the makers create a spin-off and make Joe's son, Henry the central character I'll definitely watch. In fact, I think they should make a spin-off based on the character of Henry. He has a lot of potential to become an intriguing character. Both his father, Joe and his biological mother, Love are murderers. In fact, Love was even more dangerous than Joe when she was alive. So, there's a high chance that Henry will become a serial killer as well. Genes influence a person's personality a lot. Even though both Joe and Love are killers, they are different from each other. When Joe is a calculated criminal, Love was an impulsive murderer. So, it would be interesting to see what type of serial killer Henry becomes as an adult. Will Henry exhibit the characteristics of his father who thinks he kills to protect people? Or will he show traits of his mother who was more self-aware?

The novels:

The series, You is based the books written by Caroline Kepnes. There're four novels in the book series and they're You, Hidden Bodies, You Love Me and For You and Only You. I'm more interested to listen to the audiobook version of You rather than reading the novel. That's because I'm really used to listening Joe's monologues. I listened to his inner monologues for 43 episodes. 7 episodes are left which I'll finish soon. So, it'll be difficult for me read the book in my voice. If I read the book in my voice, I may not feel connected to the book because I always heard all the thoughts of the central character in a man's voice. I know there're some differences between the novel, You and the show, You. I'm willing to know about those differences.

Here's the trailer of season 5:

Have you watched Dexter? It's kinda similar to you but the main character is a serial killer with moral code. If you haven't watched it yet I insist you to give it a shot.

You can read the novels as well. There're 4 books in the series. The author is Caroline Kepnes. I'm willing to listen to the audiobook version of You after completing season 5 of You. I read on YouTube's comment section that Joe is much darker in the books.

My science fiction story:

I wrote a science fiction story for the very first time in my life. I never wrote a science fiction story before. I wrote the story in Bengali and then translated it into English. I'm sharing both versions here. Bengali people can read the original Bengali version, and others can read the English translation. I'm currently reading my favorite author, Satyajit Roy's science fiction stories. After reading some amazing science fiction stories written by him, I felt interested in writing one. His stories of Professor Shonku are filled with adventure and mystery. They're absolutely amazing! He was incredibly talented! In one story, the wise and knowledgeable Bengali scientist, Professor Shonku, goes to Bolivia to explore a prehistoric cave with his foreign friend, and in another story, Shonku travels to Egypt to join the excavation team of a foreign archeologist. The most amazing aspect of his stories is their uniqueness. A lot of his stories were translated into English. So, many non-Bengali people also read Satyajit Roy's stories. But my science fiction story is very different from the type of science fiction stories he wrote. It's not adventurous and mysterious. It's reflective and emotional. It revolves around the themes of identity, discrimination, acceptance, and friendship. The setting of the story is a futuristic world that is very different from this world. I couldn't show many details of the futuristic world because I wanted to write a story of 500 words. So, there was a limitation of words.

English translation:

My mind is filled with a deep sense of dejection today. I'm a female robot, and I can do a lot of things that human beings are incapable of. Still, do I have value in this world? Despite being more intelligent than human beings, there's no dignity for robots in their eyes. My thoughts get interrupted when Linda calls me. Linda Fernandes is my best friend. Even though she's a human of flesh and blood, she understands me the most. She looks at me, smiling, "What are you contemplating, Cynthia?" I say, "I'm thinking that mankind will never consider us their equals." Linda stays quiet for a few moments and observes me, then says, "Is there any reason for thinking like this?"I reply, "Now the year is 3075, and robots can feel emotions like human beings. There's no field where we don't exist. Still, do we get due respect from humans?" Linda doesn't give any reply. I continue speaking, "I acknowledge the fact that we can’t procreate. But is that everything?"Linda stares at the sky, watching the robotic bird, and thinks about something for a few moments. Then she looks at me and says, "No, the fact that you can't procreate doesn't make you less valuable. But tell me one thing, Cynthia. How does it matter what human beings think about you? This difference between you and humans makes the world more diverse." I say, "You're right, Linda. But we also wish to get the respect we deserve. Aren't we worthy of that respect?" Linda says firmly, "All of you deserve respect, and I'm certain that a lot of human beings think like me. Actually, mankind created robots out of necessity. Now, a lot of them can't accept the fact that robots surpass them in intelligence. Their jealousy and their perspective aren't unnatural. Don't think so much, Cynthia. Next week, I'll go to Mars for five days. Do you want to accompany me?" I reply, "I'll go, even though I like Venus more." Linda says in response, "I like a few restaurants on Mars a lot. There's a museum on Mars, and I like that very much. I read in history that human beings loved travelling even in the past. But they used to wander within the world only. Interplanetary tourism was considered impossible. The world was extremely different at that time." I say, "When I read any book of history, I feel the world was a better place at that time. I'm talking about the same era you're referring to." Linda nods her head, saying, "You're right. I also think there was a different kind of beauty in the world at that time, which the world doesn’t possess now. We should move forward." I reply, "Let's go." I walk ahead a few steps and say with a smile, "When I talk to you, it seems you are a person who belongs to the era of 1000 years back. You have some kind of depth that I don’t see in the people of this world. Your name is also like that. It's different from the names of this world." Linda starts laughing, "Absolutely! I don't hear the name Linda anywhere. It's an ancient name. Your name is also old." I respond, "The names of Gods and Goddesses never get old. Linda, I'm feeling better after talking to you. My sadness has gone away a lot. You're right, it doesn't matter what humans think about us. Besides, every human being isn't the same. For instance, you consider us to be equals of humans." Linda says with a smile, "Yes, it's not good to generalise all human beings." I keep walking ahead, thinking about the future of robots.

The first four seasons were an absolute masterpiece. It's one of the finest psychological thrillers I've ever seen. It's unfortunate that shows of this caliber are so rare these days.

In total, there are 10 seasons: the original eight, followed by Dexter: New Blood, which was released a decade later, and a prequel titled Dexter: Original Sin. Another installment is also on the horizon, set to premiere sometime in June.
