Chhapaak is a very important film in her career.It was a social film made as honestly as possible by Meghna Gulzar. She produced and acted in that film..not only because of the aftermath,This film and Gehraiyaan got her the stint as Jury Member at Cannes and Times Impact award in 2022. She got Officially announced as Global Brand ambassador of Louis Vuitton,Cartier, Qatar Airways,Pottery Barn, Adidas.Levis(Hilton came later during her BIG releases).Deepika presented the Fifa cup.

Producers ignored the Trolls after Chhapaak and signed her for their biggest films..5 of them.They were all hits.

Kjo went on stage and called Deepika a legend and.a global superstar...after working hard for years, living in denial.

It has been an amazing journey. To many it may not be.But that is OK.

The industry,the producers,the directors,the stars have shaped her journey.Only THEY MATTER.

And in those so-called aforementioned hits, she was nothing but a glorified flowerpot and she was totally saddled with side roles with zero contribution but okay….
