It was removed after that because it was not Cricketesque. Organizers then added a super over. A shortened 1 over match. Every team will bat 1 over and whoever scores more wins.

Aah yes , i was familliar with "super over" that was going to be my follow up quration in that post whether this was practiced before or after super over.
