Which "genre"? sports-movie? Well, the plotline is known: building a team (with teamspirit) and winning a game (against all odds, in general). What will be new in this movie? That the coach initially doesn't want to coach and that the members of the team are intellectually/physically challenged. Basically even the latter isn't 'new', right? And it's also basketball...like in the reference movies.

Lal Singh Chaddha was also a "high-content, slice-of-life " movie, btw...
