Karan Arjun and kaho Na Pyar Hai were block busters , but were massive disaster in the re run.
It does not hurt AAA cult classic status
I guess AAA is more suitable for home viewing experience than on the big screen
I don't think the mood of the nation after Pahalgam attack is to watch a movie.Originally posted by: TheJourney

90s movie with old print has not worked in re-run. The ones post 2000s have worked. These movies visually looks and feels old as far as theatrical viewing is concerned. This movie in particular has been seen many times through cable tv. It has a cult following whether you like it or not. The dialogues and scenes are well known and often cited.
There is no mood to watch any movie this weekend. They should’ve postponed or canceled the release.
Take a look at history out there and check on the releases post any tragic events take a dip. 2006 Mumbai attacks or 26/11 or any other one. Who would want to watch a movie and that too a comedy amidst such tragedy? There is no mood to watch any movie this weekend. They should’ve postponed or canceled the release.
It's just unfortunate.
There could be multitude of factors but dismissing it's cult following is ridiculous.
Don't blame the movie, blame the circumstances in which it re-released...

It's a fun movie, but funnier to expect that people would spend money to watch it when it's available for free. Lol.

Read my posts on very first page of this thread - that's exactly what I said. Fun movie or not, cult movie or not. Who would want to pay for it when it's available for free? This was bound to tank.
