You can pass each question once, but that comes at the risk of losing the 100 points associated with it because if you pass it, then your opponent gets the chance and if they answer, then they get the 100 points. If they answer wrong, then they'll get first try at 90 points because you passed. You go second in that case.
No negative points. You get basically 5 tries on a question. If you can't answer it, then I'll give the answer and no one gets the points.
As an example, let's suppose I ask:
How did World War 2 begin? and the 2 Houses playing are Hufflepuffs vs Slytherins.
I'll name a House to go first - let's say Hufflepuffs. The Hufflepuff player can either pass or give an answer. Let's suppose they pass. Then Slytherin player gets a chance. If they are wrong, then the points related to that question go from 100 to 90. Then the Slytherin player gets to try again. If they get it wrong, then the Hufflepuff player gets a chance.
Let's suppose that at 100 points, the Hufflepuff player tries to answer and gets it wrong. Then the Slytherin player gets to try. If they answer it wrong as well, then the points related to that question go from 100 to 90 and then the Hufflepuff player gets to try to answer again.
For order, the first person to answer the first question will be from the House that has the overall lowest points after Subject 4. I sent each House their points after Subject 5, but I will not use those points to decide ordering. I'll use the ones that I posted publicly. Then for each question after that it'll be whichever House has lower points in that slot overall (not the round, but just the slot).
