They have proved that they are a hit Jodi by acting together in many movies and supporting each others character well.
The father son duo came together for the very first time onscreen in the year 2005 under the yash raj banners.
The film Bunty and Babli was a blockbuster and the song featured on the father son with the bahu 'kajra re' came to be a big hit.
The jodi was so well appreciated that they came once again on the screen in Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar as reel life son father.
The film was a super success and this jodi became a bigger hit and boosted their career to greater height.
The histrionics of the father and son was once again appreciated and as a pair both complimented each other very well.
This pairing was liked by every one so much that Abhishek was asked to do a special appearance for his father's movie Ek Ajnabee.
Abhishek had a grand entry in the climax of the movie which had Abhi and Amit lighting up the frame.
The real life father son came to be reel life father son once again this time in Karan Johar's flick Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. The chemistry of the relation was that of quotient"cool" and hence great fun to watch.
We must say that Bachchan senior sure made a cool dad 'sexy sam' in this movie. Abhishek complimented his dad's coolness and smartness.
Their song Rock and Roll Soniye came to be a big hit and the duo tap danced beautifully together.
The two once again was seen in the film Shootout at Lokhandwala.
Though Abhi did not have a major scene in the film he shared an important role and contributed his bit to the movie.
Now was the chance for Big B to do a special appearance for his baby Abhi.
Big B danced gracefully in the Johnny Deep avatar of his hit film Pirates of the Caribbean for the title song of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom in the beginning of the movie and as well as with the lead characters in the climax song.
How can Abhi be left behind when Big B does an item number for his movie. Abhishek too did an item song for his fathers movie RGV ki Aag.
Junior performed on the very famous song Mehbooba Mehbooba with the effervescent actress Urmila. Though the movie was a flop the song was a big hit amongst the masses.
This shows that the father son combination can do anything for promoting each other or for that fact film of their loved ones.
Abhi Amit jodi will be soon seen once again in their upcoming film Sarkar Raj of Ram Gopal Varma. The film also casts the Bachchan bahu Ash.
There are lot of expectations from this flick and with the promotions of the film we can expect it to be a hit like the first part.
