Juhi getting slapped - 1.1 audience don't like juhi who is victim here getting slapped for others stupidity.

Television audience is extremely unpredictable. No one knows what actually connects with them! One fine morning, they love Rutu and Teju together, another day they love Neil's dukh, dard and peeda, and the next day they'll like Teju suffering and Leena's kalesh and then there's the one when they like Mukta and Neil together on screen.

On a serious note, I think "Neil's Promise to Mukta" was the episode of Tejaswini's vidaai. She ran back into the house to get her certificates and mark sheets, and then subsequently went to college for admission instead of reaching Pradhan Niwas for her Griha pravesh. That's probably the dramatic dose for the TRP households. Also, the Leena's outburst with Ruturaj's taunting drama episode has the same, higher ratings. This indicates that the "Ashubh Vivah" Promo has something to do with increasing viewership. They should start releasing kaleshi promos as much as possible!

Plus the audience probably is happy with Juhi running away so they are perhaps sympathising with her getting slapped. It's also the episode where Mukta takes a hypocritical stand for Juhi, instead of her daughter during the latter's wedding. That's probably one point where the online and offline audience are having same sentiments.

The show might be actually going in the right direction. Hope they make some sense out of all this and encash on these points. And by these points, I mean the kalesh and hall drama happening in the lead characters' lives since that's the only constant in all these episodes.

Just saw the trp ratings & glad that it's still the slot leader. Yrkkh failing badly can prove to be a blessing in disguise for ghum. Looking at the downfall of all the shows, don't think Starplus is gonna take tough decisions anytime sooner. Which means ghum makers still have a chance to bring the trps amongst the top shows. Let see what they bring in store now. From what I've heard, they've already deviated from phagun bou with Neil knowing about Rutu-Teju past relation, this early. Time only tell whether this deviation will be prove successful or not.

Also as per SBS segment, saw Mukta slapping Teju. I'll definitely not support this action but looking at the current storyline maybe this was necessary. Teju's character was shown getting consumed by anger & hatred for Neil & it was getting uncontrollable. It was definitely getting intolerable for viewers to bear as well😅. Her impulsive nature ignited her anger even more & for no reason, she insulted Neil in front of all. She was definitely wrong here. Thankfully she was put into place then & there itself by her mother. Although both, teju blaming Neil & mukta slapping teju could've been done privately but this is ghum & they're famous for kalesh & hall drama afterall😅 It was a slap by a mother to her daughter, raising concern for her upbringing & it was needed. Maybe this will help teju to calm down & accept her fate. Atleast be more respectful towards Neil & Pradhans.

Neil after getting heartbroken knowing Teju's past, would've got more disheartened about Teju insulting him, but Mukta slapping Teju will make him feel bad for her. Atleast they will try to have conversation after this & maybe we can see a fresh start of TejNeil after all the jail fiasco ends. What's worth entertaining in all this is Rutu's jealousy😅. This guy just can't keep calm & him joining Tejneil honeymoon would actually be a fun idea here. Can't wait to see more of his jealous side. Overall ghum is still far better in its storyline & have not lost track as of now. Let's see what makers bring next in upcoming episodes.

@red: if I would have been in Teju's place, I would have ran away by now. I mean I agree she's behaving very worse with Neil but that doesn't make ppl around her right. Right from the wedding everyone are somehow or other forcing her, not letting her live peacefully. Nobody including a mom should force daughter into a relationship without their consent.

Honestly the wedding arc did pull trp, and the last two episodes where the leads actually get married didn't have a lot of substance, although I was hoping that teju-ritu revelation would've worked, but the plot where we all were actually pinning our hopes because of the ashubh vivah promo kinda worked for the show. Also it is good that leena, teju and ritu tensions wala episode got good trp as that would have been the plot going further

@bold: they are following the storyline to T, but it is execution which they've improvised.

@blue: teju atp looks extremely stupid. Like just the way I said I had empathy for teju till today but the way she insulted neil was not right. Reason being, even though neil married her out of her choice but at any point till now he hasn't done anything for which she would resent him so much that she can't even think of giving him the respect as a fellow human being. Also she casually throws around words like manipulation and blackmail which he didn't do. She wants everyone to understand her side of the story but she isn't ready to give neil the same space.
