Worried about his daughter's wedding. In traditional, conservative families any kind of stigma related to the marriage festivities or rituals is deeply feared. Dulha kisi aur baat kar raha hai, yahan toh seedha hone wali patni ki behen se baat kar rahe the, waqt bita rahe the Doctor saab. And Teju Mem Saheb hain hi param sundari ki unko insecurity ho gayi.
Plus after the eventual TejNeil marriage that he was fearing, he might have felt jealous because of the fact that she is getting married into a richer family. Satish seemed to be insecure about his elder brother, Mohit in the earlier episodes since he was the younger one and didn't earn much as well. Unki beti ko dulha mil gaya, unhe laga trophy Teju ko mil gayi. After all, he felt betrayed as a father by Juhi.
Though I didn't like how he subtly questioned and character assassinated Tejaswini when she talked to Neil. Also raised his hand, now that was not acceptable.
If they follow the og then when teju goes back to chavan house after her fight with neil satish gonna hurt her more
I stopped watching bts of all shows actually
It's killing the excitement 😂😭

Sanam is killing it as the villain (at least till now) I was skeptical abt him pulling a negative character in such initial stage of his acting career

Thankfully we get bts of ghum only through sbs otherwise yrkkh ka toh pura screenplay hi aa jata hai ek hafte pehle

If they go according to OG screenplay, he'll hit Juhi after she returns home.
These sort of characters are reality in few families.
Absolutely. Indian families are extremely worried about marriages. Everything needs to be perfect and according to their desires only. The bride and the groom have no say. Caste, class, colour determines "parivaar ki izzat". And if the bride elopes, it's the end of the world since izzat is tied to the woman of the family. The Chavans didn't bother to consider Tejaswini's wishes for a second, not even her mother. And the Pradhans have had a failed marriage in their house and still didn't get a lesson. They didn't bother to listen to Neil, who they knew couldn't speak. They keep harping about how shy their ghar ka beta is, but don't realise what mental pressure he goes through when he is not able to voice his opinions.

I literally didn't know how to watch the episode after watching yrkkh bts.
Upar se, the storyline is not helping. It's been one month I literally watched the entire episode of yrkkh.

Looking forward how his character unfolds. Watched literally with no expectations on him honestly. He's doing good.

I started the show for Param and ab neil ka character itna subdued bana diya hai lekin rituraj ke character mein saara drama daal diya hai that I'm enjoying it more. Ps I think they'll make rituraj more unhinged as he is the ghar ka beta and no one would question him while pakhi still had some limitations

I was honestly disappointed more with Mukta. I mean why don't you think about your daughter's life rather than being concerned about your so called Father-in-law's ijjat. I agree Neil is a good man but still don't you literally consider your daughter's wishes and thoughts regarding her marriage.
