That's possible. Or it could turn out that this is a red herring as well. The 2 ladies could be anyone. But maybe someone else from the inside is still involved and gave Barboza some inside tips. Heck, they could bring Shreya back and it could turn out to be that she was fully involved and never blackmailed.

I would like to add - ACP Pradyuman is in no way dead. Firstly, that would be too easy. And secondly, it doesn't fit into Barbosa's master plan. The way he called Daya and then Abhijeet and tried to turn them against each other and then made the threat on the city...this is about destroying the CID team from the inside. Whether there is an insider or not, it isn't one of the current team, not unless they decide to do another Behrupiya. This is more leaning towards another Aakhri Chunauti type situation where they will turn the team against each other and make one at a time disappear only for them all to be saved at the end.

At most they'll bring someone prior back and make them into traitor. The CVs probably haven't figured it out yet or are still casting for that part. But ACP Pradyuman will most likely return and none of these officers will turn out to be traitors.

I feel like the CVs are thinking this all up on a fly and responding to the reactions. That's why they pulled down that post on ACP Pradyuman because the response was so negative. And it's why it went from Satam sir quitting to him just being on a break. They've released this new promo about there being a traitor in CID and now they'll see how people react on SM and base their "traitor" on that.
