Myscmme is gone. Thank you god.

She absolutely didn’t deserve to be in the finalists.

However, I would have loved to see Ragini instead of Priyangshu.

Very intrigued by who was eliminated and who was a finalist. I'm happy about Mysmiyrhyrtrfsgfitredeee or whatever her name is being gone, because she was your typical "peak during the theater rounds" contestant and was not worthy of being a finalist. Ragini being eliminated is sad, but everyone knew she wasn't going to win. She's one of the six best singers of the season for sure, but she can always come back and do better in a future season, assuming she doesn't become a notable playback season before such a thing can happen.

As for the finalists, I'm fine with four of them. Subhajit is by far the best singer on the show, is great every week and has been since the first episode. He should win, but he probably won't because this is a reality show and you only get one Pawandeep type winner per half a decade or so. Manasi can be grating with her mashups lately, and her personality isn't for everyone, but she's clearly one of the best talents of the season. I used to hate her but she's won me over. Chaitaniya is pretty good, sometimes great, and consistent enough to be a finalist. Anirudh making it is a surprise, but for me it's a pleasant one. I like his singing and he proved himself last week.

Priyangshu being a finalist is an interesting choice. Mys-whatever is a more consistent singer, and much less likable, but I thought she'd be in above him. Priyangshu has flashes of brilliance, but he's been underwhelming for most of the season. I'm happy to see him here, but I don't know if he deserves it.

Sneha, eh. We all know why she's here, it's no secret. Shreya was obsessing over her since the auditions and has protected her the whole time. If a wild card rule or veto was still a thing, Shreya would always use one for Sneha. I hope Sneha doesn't win, because that would be awful. Her being a finalist isn't a surprise sadly, but the good news for me is that I can forward through at least 10 minutes of the finale because she'll be a part of it.

I've been silent all season, but felt like sharing my thoughts before the season ends. Even if this season didn't hit the highs of last year's early rounds, at least it didn't nosedive like last year and provided us at least one really good episode per week. A lot of shows can't even do that much these days, so I think I'll remember the season fondly as long as they don't give us a winner nobody wants.

Subhajit is definitely the best of the lot and deserves to win.

Manasi is generally great but there are some performances that I feel she overdoes like a stage performance and doesn’t keep the essence of the song.

Anirudh is again a hit and miss but mostly, I love his voice. If he works on his diction, he would be just fantastic.

Sneha is stuck to 1-2 genres so now it’s just repetitive now. She is a great singer, no doubt but she isn’t versatile.

Ragini has been a surprise. Her growth as a singer has been immaculate and she has improved with every episode.

Priyangshu just constantly copies Arijit. He has absolutely no originality so I don’t think he deserves to stay.

For Mysjdjfondmee — you said it perfectly. She was great in the auditions but through the show she’s been on a decline.

Agreed with what you wrote. Subhajit is one of the best singers in this show in my opinion.

Manasi is excellent too and deserving as a winner as well. As for overdoing it sometimes.. we have seen how they need one SP each season for their format and the singer they choose for that is given songs modified accordingly by the mentors.. I don't think the singers have much say in that.

I really like Chaitanya.. he has a great range and control. He will go far. He is just 18.

As for Ragini, I feel she should have auditioned a few years later. She is just fifteen. The votes she gets are more 'She sings like that at only 15' which is neither fair to her nor to the other participants. I felt the same with Avirbhav in SS. Though both are greatly talented but they should have waited a bit longer before participating. In my opinion, the makers should change the min age limit of these shows.

Agree completely about Myscmee and Sneha.

Priyangshu, (as was Vaibhav in the previous season) is self trained. He has mostly learned listening to the singer he idolizes or identifies with. In his case it is Arjit Singh. In Vaibhav's case it was Sukhwinder Singh.

Even then I do agree with your opinion. Srijan was much versatile but got eliminated early.

Oh yes. I forgot about Chaitanya. He has potential but he is also singing similar songs in every round. He is a brilliant singer but should try singing some different songs.

Nice to read your opinion & thoughts. I agree with everything you wrote except about Sneha. I know she is not versatile but I feel she is very good. But yes, idol should be someone who can handle most type of songs. So, I am happy to see her in the top 6 and I don’t expect her to win the whole thing.
