I Finally watched the first episode of the gala round! Shreya looked really pretty with that bun. Baashah is genuinely growing on me his banter with Aditya the rest of the panel is great! The contestants are great too I love how much variation some of them bring and the fusion songs etc! Really refreshing! I hope they keep this quality as the season goes on. I’m surprised that they didn’t do the Mausam Badal Diya or whatever the phrase was last season Hit Lit I think

Mayuri - what a fantastic start to the main season! To take on Mere Dholna one of the most complex songs and singing it in front of Shreya and adding the beatboxing was great although the beatboxing was unnecessary but the last bit (the jugalbandi) between them was great.

Srijan - he did great but agreed with Vishal that wish he had connected to the audience more maybe nerves got to him.

Ritika - a great performance the little jazz bit she added was a fun element she’s very confident on stage

Vastav - he’s so meh to me added nothing too value esp to Afreen which is a song that’s been done to death on these shows. Didn’t like him on SRGMP and didn’t like him on here either. The story about his grandma was so sad though

happy to see Ushaji on stage! I wish she would’ve been a grand judge or something her comments were great very refreshing. I wish she would’ve stayed for the whole episode.

Ranjini - I really like her personality and awkwardness, she’s very cute! But I think her yodeling schtick is going to get old really fast. Overall her performance was great though not only she sings great but she has a great stage presence, very confident especially singing in front of a legend and the original singer.

Myscme - Yeh Kahan Aagaye is one of my fave songs so I was a little biased, I thought she did great she might be the Ananya of this season. Surprisingly Badshah’s comments were spot on she sang really well but to emulate Lataji’s feel of this song is hard.

Anirudh- he’s a pro since he’s been a finalist at a regional Idol! Srivalli is an annoying song(for me) that being said he sang really well and added a lot of nice moments in the song. And the transition to Dil Se was awesome! He found his groove in that song! And Dil Se is one of my fave songs

Ipsit - he was fine, again this is a song that is done to death in these shows and he added nothing it was a hard task to follow the better performances before him. Vishal’s comments were a little too harsh but whatever he was right! I wish they had Shreya and Badshah comment too.

So glad to see Asees Kaur on stage she’s one of my faves I hope they keep on bringing singers like they did last season with Shilpa and Armaan and Mithoon etc

Day 2 was a little underwhelming to me some nice performances

Sneha absolutely knocked it out of the park! Phenomenal performance! I say this every year that the girls are always better than the boys and this year it’s still relevant! All of the girls are just superior

The guy who sang Saathiya was great too (couldn’t catch his name)

What's the purpose of Platinum Mic at audition time?

Ragini got it but not selected during theatre time??!!

I thought getting a mic was straight entry in studio!!!???

Glad she got chance in Sunday's episode to make top 16 (instead of top 15)

Wonder how many episodes/weeks before elimination starts
