He took a page out of his fellow player Hardik pandya and Naga chaitanya ( telugu actor) who cheated on their wives and then ran a nasty agenda against them with their PR and sl*t shamed them to no extent. These women should've sued them and taken every penny they got.

Good thing however is, a lot of women do not tolerate cheating, physical and emotional violence by their husbands anymore and this is why divorce rates are rising in this country. This "male loneliness epidemic" thing is caused by deranged males on themselves.

Even if he was cheating, Why do strong independant and well earning women need alimony? Also even if the wife cheats Indian courts still provide them alimony. Men are losing in either case.

This is why either this alimony thing needs to be given only to the really needful women or uniform civil code should be applied so that those who can get rid of 4 wives with just paying a meher decided prior to marriage, should also feel the pain of alimony.

It was Chahal who proposed to his ex-wife so early. She was not ready for marriage also as per their interview .

He is already seen with another girl now, going to Dubai, seen at 5 star hotels etc.

It's their mutual decision also for the divorce and alimony.

If some guy is not so rich, it's ok not to take anything. She s just trying for roles now and doing only a few music videos. Just starting off I guess.

Under Indian law, alimony is typically granted based on the needs of the wife and the ability of the husband to pay.

Don't know why the lawyers leaked the Alimony amount. That should be kept personal.

Who said they are doing anything criminal? However Alimony was meant for the needy but some greedy women have made it their business. As for cheating, even the cheating wives get the alimony these days.

Par tum logon ka sahi hai. Nikah ke waqt hi meher decide ho jaata hai fir jab Mann chahe talaq do aur biwi ko rafa dafa karo. Alimony ka koi jhanjhat hi nahi. Maybe you should advocate for uniform civil code so that you guys can also have the pleasure of giving alimony to cheating wives.
