Few fans say or liken KMTMG to itv in terms of logic. Having watched other series. Other shows dialogue is not contradictory or illogical to same degree as KMTMG. Other ITV shows. I say it happens about 20% of script. KMTMG it occurs 40- 50% of script. Its very noticeable difference.
Its ok as ive said in past if theres no logic. However KMTMG writers fail to explain their fiction well. Tell me what I must beleive... pls KMTMG writers. Even other itv shows are fiction. Fiction deserves consistency to plot. Below example we discussed is lazy inconsistency to major part of RA memory plot & his current pretence
I agree with your previous post on respect to actors in working on a watchable script .Its more than you explained or worse. Why waste screen time on non sense ? Nevermind illogic ... Its not consistent to fictional plot. Example. V dialigue he will hold Manvi & Rajeev to account today. V said this many times on Ex & Rajeev. Bro. Pls dont waste time. If creators remove wasted dialogue. Respect can be shown to have more Harsh or Nimmi or Anjali. Add all this Faltu dialogue together. If creators remove it. We can have good parallel leads plot.
Yup. It is a very noticeable difference for me too. I can suspend my need for logic in almost any show but not to the extent that they show anything - except if perhaps it is meant to be comedy / slapstick comedy... where I can have a brainless laugh.
Last sentence 'we can have a good parallel lead' (or even story)... well... do we even have a good main lead story? They've failed in that too. An error on quoting me... I mentioned 'actors are making their pathetic script watchable'.
In an earlier post, I mentioned about lack of build up and resolution - add to it execution of the plot too. Ammu hanging lifeless / unconscious was acted out really well... she was left hanging for nearly half a minute, if not more. If she were to be only unconscious, did this particular plot need an event like hanging her? esp when Ammu is to be left unaffected by it? And again, if I put myself in Virat's place how will I behave - either I breakdown crying she is hanging and perhaps dead / bring her down and check pulse hoping she is alive and regardless of whether I can sense her pulse or not, run carrying her to a hospital or may be try CPR hoping that brings her back. I wont be sitting down and narrating an eulogy or making new promises or something similar to her.
They knew Rajeev is out... did they take any cautionary measures - something LA tweeted about a while back. I certainly dont expect Bhavani and Babs to dance like there is no tomorrow and later on blame Anjali that she hasn't been keeping an eye on Nimmi.
On a related note there is a Dussehra function in kkb during ML track... they go ahead taking necessary precautionary measures. Things were argued within the family before going on with the function, despite getting death threat and ... with a twist in the script... shooting is attempted / done... even if no one was hurt. Taking these precautionary measures adds to the villains credibility too - else it feels like wolf attacking a flock of lame sheep (may even be called lame ducks).
Think the last 2 paragraphs were examples of execution and build up... resolution is yet to come... and after one scene, i wont be surprised if the next scene that comes up will be the precap scene. Resolution will be left untouched... again.
And sadly, this has been the story of the show since a long time - though I am more aware of the execution phase more since the first week.
