The interview was a good watch. The way he talks is so Lahori, I love it He seems like a grounded and honest person, the way he was sharing about his life.
What stood out to me was how he mentioned punishment for criminals if the crime is proved and how we will get to see court room drama as well. If Ammar and Nashwa are married I don’t understand how the conflict of interest will even allow her to participate in the case BUT I’m excited to see what will happen.
Also the shades of Ammar are deliberate because it’s not necessary that the face of an assaulter will appear evil. Criminals are all around us and many belong in families such as this. Where they are nobodies at home but then take it out on the world and the power play and abuse they fall victim to at home, they do the same and even worse to others outside. I am glad Nameer spoke about this being a deliberate casting to keep the picture of Ammar as realistic as possible.
I don’t see the “love for Nashwa” amina is talking about here. For me it’s cousin rivalry and pettiness. If anything there might be some awe for Nashwa from his side because of how she’s so unafraid to Baray Abu and Dadi, who he is so intimidated by. And Nameer also said his other side is gonna be revealed soon.
Loved what he said about Yumna and how he did ice breaking with her. What he said about Deepak. And his experiences in Mein.
Had fun watching this.
If as per the writer, Nashwa will not become 2nd Bisma and if the audience is going to cry for Ammar in the end, then I believe Ammar is innocent. And if he is innocent, then Nashwa and Ammar will live together and carry forward with their marriage.
I really don't understand, if Nashwa has been blackmailed by Bakhtiyar and totally surrendered to her fate, then how did she muster the courage to go against him to fight against Ammar. Don't BAKHTIYAR blackmaile her again. At that time won't she be worried about Bisma and Asim life.

The whole fiasco of people giving benefit of doubt for a person like ammar reminds me of herrin case.
The Cameron Herrin case serves as a stark reminder of how public perception can sometimes be shaped by superficial factors. Herrin, who was responsible for a tragic car crash that killed a mother and daughter, was sentenced to 24 years in prison. However, his looks—specifically his "puppy eyes" and handsome features—led people online to show him sympathy and even criticize the judge's decision. This phenomenon highlights a disturbing trend: when people are attractive, they often receive a benefit of the doubt, even in serious situations where their actions should be the focus. It’s troubling to see how society sometimes values appearance over accountability, i have seen few disturbing comments supporting ammar in insta saying he was in drugs n high , had no clue what was he upto n some literally praying hope he didn't do it , when it's quite clear the way he n his friends literally dumped the poor girl next morning. Sadly, we are in a society where looks may influence how one is treated. Justice should be based on actions, not appearances.
Whether Ammar was directly involved in the crime or not, his actions still make him an enabler. His attempt to abandon the girl after the incident shows that he's an equal participant in the wrongdoing. By trying to cover up the situation, he’s complicit in a way that cannot be ignored.
As for the writer's direction, it seems likely that Ammar will eventually develop feelings for Nashwa during the court trials. There’s a certain narrative tension in that possibility, and it almost feels like it’s setting the stage for a complex emotional journey. Some speculate that he might either die or end up in prison by the end of the story. I don’t see a future for Nashwa and Ammar in marriage, though. The central theme of the show revolves around Nashwa breaking free from the constraints of her toxic environment. If she were to stay married to Ammar and continue living in that toxic house, the show wouldn’t fulfill its purpose of showing her personal growth and liberation. The real question is how Nashwa will find a way out, and staying in that relationship would undermine her journey.

Crying for Ammar doesn’t mean he’s innocent. He’s not. That much was clear from Nameer’s interview. I think it implies he might sacrifice in some way, perhaps even die. Magar punish zaroor hoga.
I don’t see any scenario where Ammar and Nashwa’s wedding will not dissolve in some manner. Nashwa’s journey NOT being Bisma has to end as well and it can’t end without her breaking out of this marriage. On her own terms.
Look at the story so far. How all female characters have been given such dignity and grace by the writer. There is no toxicity for the sake of toxicity and what is there is moving the plot along. So I have faith in the treatment of this arc. So far the show has not disappointed me. Everything has been done really convincingly.

I just love the realistic touch to this. So so much. Ammar makes you think and question. No wonder there’s so much debate. But I love this decision - to make it ambiguous and deliberately casting a good looking guy. Kabhi kabhi audience ko challenge kerna chahiye. Otherwise it’s too easy

Yep. This is what I feel too. That the trial and punishment and going through it will somehow shape Ammar. Perhaps he even testifies against his father? Perhaps his last acts are selfless and he helps Nashwa break free? Who knows. But the complexity of the character shouldn’t be confused with his sinister actions in the past. Criminal tou woh rahay ga

I think it is exactly going this way!
Because given Ammar’s arc, just like Sidra has found a voice, he might find his too, you know? I honestly think it’s gonna be something related to his dad. Somehow shocking the audience.
As long as he ends up in jail, I will not consider that whitewashing. He’s gonna a do a lot coming up that’s gonna make me hate his guts. First Maheen and now Nashwa. At the very least I know mental torture and power play are coming up. Which will make us feel even more for Nashwa’s situation.
