Mujhe law sab nahi patha but in india i am against this. As if they legalize that ppl may harass woman and force her to bear a child so that men can earn.
Many woman are already forced into prostitution such men may not even think a second to make it as a business and kidnap girls and put them into surrogacy racket. So i am with indian laws and they should never legalize it in india.
India passed a law against commercial surrogacy somewhere in 2021/2022. So surrogacy for the take of money is basically banned and illegal. This law helps in rural/even some cities where women were used in 1000s for surrogacy by Foreigners and Indians alike as IVF is cheap in India. Only a female relative who has had a kid and is between 25-40 can qualify for this.Originally posted by: Shinning_AD

Who said surrogacy is illegal in India?
surrogacy via outsider by paying money is illegal. Here is the referenceWho said surrogacy is illegal in India?

Commercial banned hai... Altruistic is allowed. Surrogacy is legal in India.
yes i meant that. May be i did not added commercial in my previous postCommercial banned hai... Altruistic is allowed. Surrogacy is legal in India.
See openly it's illegal but it goes on in many parts of the country..
Somebody known to me hired a lady , she was in a hostel type place/hospital (dont remember clearly) for 9 months , taken care by expert doctors & staff , the parents and the woman never met , the parents kept sending good nutritious food / supplements & monitor her health & pregnancy ..after 9 months the baby was handed over to the parents , neither of the parties were known to each other, they never get to see each other , many contracts were signed with the woman ..she doesn't even see the face of the child or knows their gender..
We believe a mother might get attached to the baby but it's not in all cases ..surrogacy is an option only for those women who already have baby/babies. Needless to say only few can afford it
There was a show in Tamil about surrogacy after Nayanthara welcomed her kids via surrogacy and they bought a surrogate to talk about her experience.. She admitted she did it for money and that she was not shown that baby's face, never knew the opposite party as well.. Only mediators took care of everything and money was given regularly.. Though it is illegal it might be happening at many places silently..
Altruistic kya matlab it can't be some stranger is given the responsibility for bearing a child. What would she get in return if not monetary benefit or something else? It's not always that selfless to.sacrifice your body for a child. Pregnancy is a deadly thing even in 2025 so much medical progression mothers die on table.
It's mostly falls on sone family members also ruhi has always been a character to drive the drama why not now too, even though no one wants to watch that shit
