So gone through a couple of comments of her, posting links as what she has been saying post elimination. I get it she is a homecook, but ghar k comfort mein banana or Masterchef mein bnana is different. And she lacked almost everytime. Or phir itna kuch bolna, is I believe kind of disrespect to your workplace. What are your thoughts?

It wasn't a show where cooks came to compete for a contest. It was a big boss cooking show where drama company came with their botox fillers long ass nails sob stories and tears and people working in set designed their plates.

Kavitaji is hundred percent correct. MasterChef gave her nothing maybe some more attention but she had it already. Sony just ruined it's image further. She can criticise and she should. More people should voice out opinion rather than blind worship of their favs. We all know the show was extremely biased and dramatized for no reason.

Like one of the fans said, unko cooking/ khana banana aathi hai nautanki ya tears on the snap of a finger nahi — if you want drama and sob stories, you shouldn’t have called her. It’s a disrespect to her talent. She’s a talented cook jisne unki choti se youtube cooking page ko itna bada banaya and she has very simple and nice recipes.

Iska naam celebrity masterchef nahi Dramachef rakhna chahiye tha …I am sorry but I find it difficult to believe that these actors can cook better than a cook having years of experience on her, plus she has invited many cooks to her page. Not saying actors cannot cook or cook well, but surely not as much as a professional … ITV ka nautanki sirf show tak hi seemit nahi real life mein bhi hai. smiley44

All these years I used to thought that Colors was behind choosing the fixed winners in BB and later even KKK, but now I see Celebrity Masterchef, and this season’s BB winner too I realize there is a chance Endemol has a bigger hand. Endemol is the production house of all these reality shows I mentioned.

While I have no doubt that Kabita was sidelined and that maybe she didn’t cook as bad as the judges made it sound, you do not bite the hand that feeds you (she was paid for her participation).

There are many people who’ve only heard of her or followed her after Masterchef (I am one of those).

All of us know most reality shows are rigged. She clearly doesn’t live under a rock to not have noticed this pattern on other shows. Also you’re participating with actors, there’s bound to be drama and that’s what garners TRP’s and they’ll obviously get more screen time.

Kabitas case sounds like a case of sour grapes. She is coming off as an extremely bitter person. I get it that she’s hurt and upset, but if she’d just been smarter and shut up, she may have had more opportunities coming her way.

She isn't criticising the show. Giving opinion about something doesn't come under what you said as 'biting the hand that feeds you'. Kabita had her own fan following that's why the makers called her , they didn't do any favor on her. She is a self made person and was the most authentic person on that show. There is nothing wrong in voicing out opinion and giving authentic review of one's experience.

Like someone else pointed out too there's very low probability that these 'celebrities' who normally have cooks at their homes can be better than Kabita who is herself a chef by profession.

I agree to disagree but the way you said "shut up" and "have had more opportunities" is just a fool's thing to say! She is the most celebrated non-celebrity chef in India, awarded by the PM, 10M + subscribers. It's not a piece of cake to achieve all this in less than a decade.

And coming to paid to participate, imagine you are working in a company, and they fire you for no reason even though you read and followed all of the T&C, won't you voice your thoughts and opinions on the company and suggest other people not to join it?

For the sake of TRP, why wouldn't you just name the show "Cooking with Celebs", when you label it as MasterChef, you mean MasterChef. Find me a season where a non-deserving winner was given the title of MasterChef. Even Indian Idol is doing good on reality this year, it's the least we expect with MasterChef.

Also now that we all know that "celebrities" are/were given the recipes, plating, scripts, etc. a day or two before, what are the chances that Kabita might not get that assuming she knows how to cook?

Okay I am not saying that her elimination is justified or anything, but I want to ask why are we assuming that she MUST be best at what she does? I know she has huge fan following, thats why she is a celebrity. But there is no denying that she does what she does at at comfort of home. Her dishes has reached every home because they are targeted for people COOKing at home. When you come at masterchef, you are using different variety of ingredients and techniques. And let this be on record that she was mentioned that she knows how to perfectly season and all. But here there were different ingredients and appliances, pressure of performances, and everything. These things can take a toll on someone. I respect her, and maybe she did deserve to stay around more, but her elimination was not to save anybody else. Everyday on Masterchef is a new day, yesterday's loser can be today's winner and vice versa. Maybe it was just not her day. Having said that, I still don't think it is justified to behave as a sore loser. It was a game show, agar aap nhn jeete to baki sab undeserving hain, ya show hi khrab hai, that's not how things are. We alll are living in a competitive world, things are not always in our favour, but if you do not have sportsmanship as a basic skill in your life, you cannot go very far.

Bhaeeee they are not given any such scripts. They are trained in workshops and masterclasses, and there they take notes and practice. There is a difference.
