There is an article which says Charu gives this reason but in reality Sanjay had blackmailed her saying if she marries Abhir, he will divorce Kajal. Charu hides this truth from the family.

If she is intelligent she must have seen how her dad has always abused her mother.. This would have been a valid chance for her to marry her love and free her mom from her rakshas dad..

I am thinking why can’t they have a flashback scene during Sangeet n shadi .. where Charu and Abhir have an intimate relationship..

it can be during some wardrobe selection or a date …

both are thinking about that .. and feel sad ..

since Charu left Abhir in the alter ..it is later revealed that Charu is pregnant ..
