Shukracharya’s Vow to Stop Meenakshi and Sundar’s Marriage

Shukracharya swears to prevent Meenakshi and Sundar’s union, determined to take revenge on Shiv Shakti. Meanwhile, Sundar encourages Meenakshi to fulfill her duty as a daughter and return the throne to her father. She complies, freeing the king and restoring his rule. The forest people, recognizing Sundar as Lord Shiva, request him to reveal his divine form. Sundar insists he is their friend, not a deity, but reassures them of his love and connection to all beings. They chant “Har Har Mahadev” in devotion.

The king, upon regaining his throne, performs the last rites of Kanchanmala and announces preparations for Meenakshi and Sundar’s wedding. Shukracharya, overhearing this, plots to disrupt their union. When Lord Narayan confronts him, declaring the wedding will occur on Shivaratri, Shukracharya defies him, insisting that Shiv Shakti will not unite. Despite Lord Narayan’s assurance that Shiv Shakti is eternally one, Shukracharya proceeds with a yagna to increase his power.

As the wedding approaches, an ominous event unfolds—when Meenakshi touches the shagun items, they turn black. Realizing Shukracharya’s interference, the king and Meenakshi grow concerned about the marriage. Meanwhile, the forest people eagerly await the shagun but are blocked by a magical shield, confirming Shukracharya’s obstruction.

Lord Narayan refuses to intervene, stating that this is Shiv Shakti’s battle. Meenakshi remains resolute, vowing that the union will take place on Shivaratri. Sundar, unwavering, declares he is ready to face any challenge.
