privilege is not just about money and status …the life of indebtedness that Armaan has led is far worse ..because he has been made to feel obligated for every little thing that has come his way ..privilege is when you don’t even realize the cost of what you are enjoying ..so yeah …Armaan has paid every minute of these thirty years for whatever privilege he has enjoyed …if between them, anyone has lived a life of privilege it has been Abhira ..growing up, she never knew what it was to not belong, not to be wanted or to be made grateful for every scrap that was thrown her way …she enjoyed the love of a parent, which is a great privilege in itself …and I don’t think Armaan is the spoilt brat who needs to be taught how to live within his means or to respect unconditional love and affection …that is the one thing he has never ever known all his life …and given his conditioning, he will always continue to be grateful for the same too ..whether it comes from Shivani or Abhira !
