Arunasur commands his soldiers to kill Lord Shiv, but they fail. Shukracharya is shocked and questions how this is possible, to which Lord Shiv responds that Shukracharya cannot comprehend it. Shukracharya advises Arunasur to use Brahmadev’s boon, instructing him to make Lord Shiv his slave. Meenakshi warns Arunasur against it, but Diti urges him to proceed. Determined, Arunasur declares his intent to enslave Lord Shiv.
Arunasur challenges Lord Shiv to tie the cloth if he doubts his own power. Instead, Lord Shiv boldly steps forward and tells Arunasur to demonstrate his strength. Arunasur stares into Lord Shiv’s eyes, but nothing happens. Stunned, he questions why his power is ineffective. Lord Shiv reveals that no magic can affect him as he walks the path of truth. He remarks that Shukracharya seemingly failed to warn Arunasur. As soldiers attack, Lord Shiv retaliates (Mahakaal song plays in the background).
Earlier, Shukracharya had reassured Arunasur that Shakti was on their side and that Lord Shiv would undoubtedly come. He handed Arunasur Vasuki’s brother snake, explaining that while Lord Shiv wouldn’t kill it, the serpent could bind him permanently. Shukracharya blessed Arunasur before battle.
In the present, Arunasur uses the snake weapon against Lord Shiv. As Lord Shiv moves towards Meenakshi, the snake weapon is launched at him (Mahakaal song plays). Suddenly, Kanchanmala intervenes, positioning herself between Lord Shiv and the weapon. The snake ensnares and bites her, causing immense pain. As she collapses, Kanchanmala expresses her joy in sacrificing herself for Lord Shiv’s protection. Meenakshi rushes to her side, pleading for her to wake up. With her final breath, Kanchanmala reminds Arunasur of his challenge and urges him to reveal the truth before chanting Har Har Mahadev and passing away
A soldier informs the King of Kanchanmala’s death, leaving him devastated. Overcome with grief, he mourns over her body, calling her his wife. Meenakshi is shocked, stating that she never saw Kanchanmala visit the king in jail. Lord Shiv declares that Arunasur must now answer for his actions.
