Is there a process to delete the private forum created by accident ? There was some IF glitch so 2 new private forums got created. If there’s some way please do let me know :)

And whoever came up with the idea of removing strike through text ? It used to be such a cool feature - improvements ke naam pe aache features ko at least udao mat. :(

I keep encountering this issue now and then. It’s become more of a regular occurrence these days

- I have chalked it up to one of the many mood swings of IF. Kabhi sab kuch theek kaam karta hai, kabhi it has its mood swings 🫠 - which means there’s some glitch.

Only for bcs.

I THINK the following are the reasons why badges replaced yellow ribbon thingy

For people like Shiri and WD (examples hai, aur bhi log honge) who not just win a lot of bcs but also have added credits in the yellow strip, like CC, FFG, the length increases and hence old mentions have to be removed to make space for new ones. So badges are added. If the priority of badges is set to high, they are actually visible with the post (in RHS), with the yellow ribbon thingy, you have to click on the un, and unless it's accidental click, we aren't clicking every poster's un we see to see their achievements.

I think the creator can close their own private forum. If you click on the Gear and then click Configure, I believe you should see an option to lock a private forum.

I wasn't asking for myself . But thanks for the unyielding support . I didn't even realize ki yaha abhi discussion jaari hai...

I actually started paying attention to it since Sydell won Bollywood forum BC... because I was waiting to see the Yellow Ribbon get updated on her profile .

My suggestion - we can have both Ribbon and Badges. So for those who have won multiple times and need more space in the ribbon, old mentions can be removed but the badges will stay either way. As it stands, when there are plenty of wins mentioned in the ribbon... no one actually sits to read all of them... they understand that the person is great at graphicing and that's it. So having some old mentions removed from there wouldn't really affect the status of that graphicer much.

But, on the other hand, I understand that Banner contests are... at the end of the day... just another contest. So, when all others are getting badges only, we can't have special treatment for this one specific type of contest I guess .

No but still, banner made by you members are used on the forum. and it is a public platform. so you guys deserve it - totally! maine aaj tak kisike badges jaake nahi dekhe but I view the yellow ribbon under profile ... view ho hi jaata hai woh

Again, team, please reconsider
