I have mixed feelings towards this drama because the concept had tremendous potential but the execution couldn't live up to it.

It sought to be a twist on Romeo and Juliet with a dash of Godfather but the plot could neither build the momentum nor ride on it. I would have enjoyed it better if both Nauroz and Nawab had either been killed off or put out of commission for good towards the end of the first act with Ana and Shahmir completely taking over from them and carrying on the enmity while grappling with their feelings for each other. Their romance and subsequent angst also needed some time to marinate and be explored properly. Keeping the fathers alive until the last moment and dragging their arcs stunted the development of the kids' characters.

Also, Nimra's whole suffering feels gratuitous because there hasn't been any proper closure to it. Honestly, I was rather expecting her to stay on at Nawab's place, turn him and his wife into her bitches and take over along with Ana. Later, she and Ana could have become a formidable team against Nauroz after Nawab's 'accidental' death.

But if we do it will be the most welcome and pleasant surprise. Because death is too predictable for this show now

Most people are watching for Khushhal and Ramsha’s chemistry and the games Nauroz is playing with nawab. They’re both equally cunning and it’s fun to see them one up each other.

It’s not a serious show but one that gives you thrill and keeps you guessing. All of these are excellent points you made but I still have to hand it to the show that they kept so many twists unpredictable that even at this point you can’t say what character will end up doing what. Like I was not expecting Nauroz to fake his illness or for Ana to decide she has to go meet him at the hospital. Or for Zameer to turn back to Nawabs side. It’s a chaotic world and I think that’s what sucked the audience in.

For a first time effort this isn’t bad at all. And it’s done well with the audience. Let’s see how they wrap this up now.
