For me it was too FF already with how absurdly Kami crashed the party right after the funny monologue by Mustafa Afridi. The whole Kami scene was quite weak. The way he instigated the crowd was really rushed which took away from the believability. Uper se Rabi went out to call her Taya when she should have been calling the police. That made no sense to me. What the hell was Taya gonna do with so many men and weapons

yes, somehow, i found myself FFing some of the scenes - definitely felt bit of incoherent execution being depicted overall.

This isn’t a documentary it’s a story and the mob angle has to be tied in logically to the story we have been watching. For me the ending was really forced. Looking back it makes no sense to me how the writer created this murder mystery around Ehsaan and how Moon’s entire survival arc was shown. With this ending it makes no sense at all. Parallel stories don’t mean they have have no connection with each other. It should still tie up nicely and imo it could have easily been done. Ehsaan, a murderer, getting redeemed and dying to protect the kids. The mob attacking but Kami’s father ending up killed. A direct punishment for Kami, who instigated all this.

If you’re writing a story which is inspired from reality you can’t force the reality angle into it whenever you want. Cohesion bhi tou honi chahiye

for me TMNN was the strongest of the 3 series but had the poorest closure which felt forced and only for shock value. It’s not about it being a sad ending. I don’t even feel sad because mujhe impact hi feel nahi howa because of the rushed si execution. I was just feeling like yeh kya tha? smiley36

Kami ki story shuru se hi tied up hai Rabi, Sonu aur Moon se, even Rabi ke father se bhi connected hai kyuki usi ne Shadi ke rishte se inkaar kiya tha. Ye kehna hai mob attack ka koi connection nahi hai other stories se galat hoga.

Ab end me reality dikhani thi to villain ko saza nahi dikhayi, kyuki aise mob attack me kai baar villain bach nikalte hai reality me bhi.

Agreed. That’s one way to look at it. Keh ending aisi do keh audience ko shock lag jaye (for me even the shock element was weak but that’s another thing related to execution).

My point is that end of the day such endings do a disservice to the messaging and getting that message to a larger audience. Knowing how the story ends, how many will watch this good show now? Many were planning to binge watch it once it ends but few of my friends are already not gonna bother anymore because of this ending. If you’re creating a story to spread a good message then you have to package it in a palatable way for an audience as well. Jis main message bhi mil jaye aur aap baar baar daikhain aur doosro ko recommend bhi karain.

Even though I’ve loved 10 weeks of this show, just because of the finale I can’t ask people keh please yeh daikhain kyunke maine jootay nahi khaanay smiley36

Mujhe nahi lagta ki ending rushed thi kyuki Kami ne pehle se hi planning kar rakhi thi. Ab Rabi ne police ko call kyu nahi kiya, usne call shayad isliye nahi kiya kyuki Police itni jaldi nahi aati par Taya uske ghar ke paas hi thy to unhe bulaya help ke liye.

You do have a very good point. I was thinking of watching this show after the entire episodes were aired. But ended up watching it before. But if i would have waited and would have come to know the ending inevitably, then I wld have lost interest in watching the show.

Yes the end was underwhelming, that was my first reaction after the episode ended, but I guess the makers wanted to shock the viewers into facing the gravity of mob justice/ violence. That's also y I guess the first half of the episode they made it so rosy, showing 3 aspiring youths, looking forward to build a successful and happy life ahead, that is brutally cut short by senseless violence. Ppl r discussing that right now. But yes in the long run I don't think ppl will be re-visiiting this drama or many who haven't watched wouldn't be interested in watching after knowing about the tragic ending.

So yes they could have given the msg, by showing the deaths of ehsaan n Taya and a happy ending for rabi, sonu & moon.

PS: my mind keeps going back to sonu & rabi's moms and laddu and how shattered they would be.

I actually thought ending made sense. One of the best ending you see in a while. When there is mob against you, it doesn't see who deserves what. Life isn't like that. Its harsh. It doesn't look who deserves to die and who is not.

I loved the ending. Viewers became the mob after Kami instigated them. And this things happened. Once they gets the message there are no returning point. Kami died helping his father. Mod didn't spare him either.

I loved the full show. Sehar was the life of the show. 10/10

I think the ending of this drama was close to reality. The writer has tried to convey that mob lynching is a harsh reality of our society, where the victims ultimately lose their lives. The people involved in such acts often manipulate others through lies and false interpretations of Islam, targeting uneducated people. These extremist elements in our society misuse Islamic teachings for their own benefit, and this has been depicted in the drama.

And the most unfortunate thing is that the people responsible for such heinous crimes often go unpunished. This is because multiple individuals are involved, and according to Pakistani laws, when such incidents occur, it's difficult to pinpoint a single culprit. As a result, the case becomes weak, and the police usually don't pursue it further. Ultimately, the matter is dropped, and this is what happens in most cases.

In the first two dramas, they showed a glimmer of hope where the people who were falsely accused were able to escape. However, this rarely happens in real life. I have only come across one case where the police, specifically the ACP, saved the victim. But in almost 99.5% of such cases, whether in Pakistan or India, the victims end up losing their lives.

Agreed. Write has done a good job in showing reality of mob attack.
