Even if the police gets involved, they often become helpless in such cases.. There have been many cases like the one in Abbottabad where the police station was attacked by the mob when DSP tried to save the victim. The police had made a lot of effort to save the man who was falsely accused, but the mob came to the police station, dragged him out, set him on fire right in front of the police station, and the police were powerless to do anything."

Reality Mai Culprit ko kabi punishment nahi milti. As there are many people in the crowd so its become difficult to identify who was real instigater.

The way he instigated the crowd was really rushed which took away from the believability. Uper se Rabi went out to call her Taya when she should have been calling the police. That made no sense to me. What the hell was Taya gonna do with so many men and weapons

I agree that the execution was somewhat weak. As an audience, you should have felt more emotional impact, especially in scenes where he attacks people and when Sonu and Rabi escape. Those scenes could have been more intense and better executed. However, the final video showing real victims and the music that accompanied it was very impactful. When they related it to the victims who had gone through similar experiences, the scene became extremely heart-wrenching.

The ending was just the right note of sudden disaster that falls on people whose lives are cut short through mob violence.

When the familiar world suddenly turns on you and shows you a monstrosity that you would have never expected. Mohammad Akhlaq for example was going through a regular day when villagers and neighbours he knew broke into his home and lynched him.

This is a disaster that we live through over and over again in our subcontinent.

Everything about the last 10 or so minutes of the show was devastating but one scene that keeps making my soul quiver was the one of the host (played by Mustafa Afridi) weeping. The artist, the creator, weeping over the fate of his creations.

I thank the entire team and Sultana Siddiqui for thinking this was an important story that had to be told. Our past and our present-the poison- that we keep rolling back and forth in.

If there be a superior power out there, deliver us from this insanity!

I initially watched the first two episodes, but then I decided to hold off on continuing, planning to binge-watch the whole series once it was finished since it was a mini-series. However, my curiosity got the best of me, and after the shocking ending of the penultimate episode, I couldn't resist jumping straight to the finale. I was absolutely stunned.

I had expected the last few episodes to wrap up with a positive and light-hearted conclusion, as the tone had seemed relatively upbeat throughout. But the way everything flipped on its head by the end was completely unexpected. The twists were so disturbing, and the final scene left me in shock. It was horrifying and will stay with me for a long time.smiley19

The most unsettling part was how all the good characters were brutally killed off, while the mob, responsible for so many senseless deaths, faced no repercussions. It felt unjust and left me with an overwhelming sense of helplessness.

And then, the last scene— the one with the dupatta on the road— left me wondering if Rabi had been lynched too. At first, I thought it was just a symbol of her tragic end. But upon closer examination, I realized the presence of her anklets(ghungroo) alongside the dupatta or was it some dust? It wasn't clear, but looked like ghungroo.. It became clear that she had been assaulted before being lynched, adding another layer of horror to an already chilling conclusion. The realization was heart-wrenching and amplified the brutality of the entire situation. It was a dark, shocking finale that has left a lasting impact on me.smiley18

I agree. It wasn’t a fitting ending for this particular kind of story. Especially with how they could have included mob mentality in the sense that Ehsaan dies protecting the kids from the mob. Or Kami dies protecting his father. The message could be sent without such a morbid endgame.

There were also execution issues. I don’t know about you but the way Kami interrupted the ceremony after the funny intro done by Mustafa Afridi himself, it had zero impact for me. And one too many deaths just to add shock value also reduce the impact as well. Rabi Sonu and Moon’s death didn’t hit at all for me and I don’t think it made sense? Why introduce a survivor of rape only to kill him off? There’s no sense in terms of story telling.

We also didn’t get to see Farah’s character at all in this episode. For me TMNN was going really strong but the ending was poorly executed and felt really underwhelming. Not to mention the way they incorporated the mob angle into the ending was not really logical. It didn’t tie up the story at all. Seemed like 10 episodes were a completely different story and then this one was different.

I got your point

The ending was impactful but yeah the built up was a bit weak. This drama had a light heart touch throughout and then having such a sad ending was actually a shocker.

Tho, i really liked the message they tried to give. It was much needed too but as i am not fan of sad endings so i felt bad especially for moon and for the mothers. Sonu's mother who lost her husband after one week of marriage and now she lost her only son who is her entire world, rabi's mother who was in a loveless unhappy marriage, lost her whole family.

But still TMNON would be one of the most impactful drama. Performances were too good and writing was impressive too.

Is drame ko 80% views already mil chuke hai, ye koi Fairy Tale type drama thodi hai jo average 3-4 million views per episode se average 16-17 million views per episode ho jayenge agle 2 saal me. At max this can reach 50-60 million views total in next 2 years.
