One word caught my interest: "hatke"...I also found the trailer 'out of the box' Although the original movie gives away the story, I think that - probably - this rendition is still a bit special.

Other than that I patiently wait for what members think about the movie ... and watch it anyways when possible.

The other release Loveyapa has had a horrible start and its one of those urban love stories which would have hardly registered with public but there was a huge marketing spend and it had the son of Aamir Khan so within the industry there were some expectations and no one probably expected such bad collections.

The other release Loveyapa has had a horrible start and its one of those urban love stories which would have hardly registered with public but there was a huge marketing spend and it had the son of Aamir Khan so within the industry there were some expectations and no one probably expected such bad collections.

According to Sacnilk it’s about 1.25 crores. Honestly, I expected it to open lower than 1 crore because of how low the buzz is and how even lower the advance booking was. Movie is still flopping but given all the facts 1.25 crores is a decent opening for this film.

How much of that collection was donated by Boney and Aamir? Jokes a part, I did find the trailer interesting, I think the movie needed better music for sure, a proper dance song and a nicer slower song would've boosted the film.

just watched the film, and honestly, i really enjoyed it, it's a fun movie and i really liked the concept. the scenes didn't feel over the top and there was no nonsense or unneeded scenes. And the emotional scenes at the end were done really well, it wasn't preachy and the message was really good.

Now onto the performances, from the trailer i had my reservations about junaid's acting, but he is actually really good in the film! His dialogue delivery, expressions, reactions were all perfect for the character and it made the character believable. It's not easy to pull off such a character as it requires him to do comedy and emotional scenes, and it could easily go over the top, but junaid did not overact and pulled off the character really well. He is a good actor but he does need to improve on his dancing and his ability to be charming when lip syncing songs.

Now onto khushi, she wasn't bad at all, she did a decent performance, but she does have areas of improving, especially on her expressions and reactions, but i'm sure with more experience she will improve. Her dialogue delivery has shown alot of improvement and there are some scenes where she does really well, especially some of the emotional scenes. i find her more watchable onscreen than jhanvi. So overall, i liked her in the movie.

And in terms of chemistry, junaid and khushi actually have really good chemistry, they look really nice together and act well together.

The extended cast are also good, especially the characters of khushi's dad and junaids mom and sister, they are really funny.

So overall, it's a good watch, a lot better than many of the movies coming out nowadays. It actually has a story and a journey you go through with the characters.

the movie may not do well at the box office because it has two newcomers and it needed better songs, but it's getting good reviews and rightfully so.

Hard to tell, but they’ve definitely didn’t contribute to advance booking. If I were to guess I would say both families just let this one go. I agree that movie definitely needed better songs.

I watched Loveyapa just five minutes ago here in cineplex Yonge Dundas Toronto. Watched a movie in theaters after like almost two years post Tiger-3.

Pleasently surprised given the horrible start, don't know why, it should have created alot of buzz keeping in mind it was the first cinematic release of Aamir Khan and Sridevi's children.

I am really impressed with Junaid Khan's performance and his range of emotions which he delivered with utmost ease and natural spunk.

He will be an amazing performer forsure in the future if selects right projects.

Junaid also got great height and built and can be an outstanding action hero as well if he build his body further.

Great new talent 👍🏼👍🏼

Khushi is a much better and much natural performer compared to Jhanvi, she also got good screen presence unlike a very dull Jhanvi.

I just wish Bollywood should stop wasting the most catchy and best songs for the end credits showcasing these in a small window, just like the case was in the title track, such amazingly shot song with colorful interesting ideas, totally been wasted for the end credits.

Overall not a great movie, but better than a timepass film.
