The episode starts with Gaurav's pointed question to Mihir about what is he doing here. Mihir replies he's heading to bed, adding that he intends to take a walk first. Gaurav, ever the companion, immediately volunteers to join him. Mihir hesitates, perhaps sensing a lack of privacy, but Gaurav is insistent. They arrive at Tulsi's door, and Gaurav takes the initiative, knocking firmly.
Tulsi opens the door, and Gaurav, with a mischievous glint, tells Mihir to go inside and sleep. With little choice given Gaurav's presence, Tulsi reluctantly allows Mihir into the room. This act doesn't go unnoticed. Noina, already on edge, feels her anxieties rise. She steps out of her room, drawn by the unfolding situation. Gaurav, noticing her, playfully asks, "Are you Mihir's sister?" before she retreats back inside, the tension palpable.
Mihir is hesitant to lie down on the bed, and Tulsi urges him to sleep, perhaps hinting at a deeper emotional distance by saying she has no space left in her heart. She then creates a symbolic barrier with a pillow and settles down to sleep.
As Tulsi lets down her hair, Mihir finds himself drawn to it, gently touching it. Memories flood his mind, transporting him back to their shared past. The weight of these recollections becomes too much, and Tulsi switches off the lights, hoping to find solace in the darkness.
Meanwhile, Noina's restlessness intensifies, and Suchi tells her that Mihir still holds feelings for Tulsi.
The air buzzes with energy as everyone rehearses for the sangeet. From the shadows, Dev observes, his gaze fixed on the lively scene. Parth approaches him, curious about his actions, and Dev confides that the girls rehearsing aren't his type.
Their secret observation is cut short when the girls catch them. They admit to watching the performance, and Dev, ever the charmer, offers compliments. Invited to join them, they accept. The music begins, and Dev, swept up in the moment, joins the dance. Parth, initially hesitant, finds himself enjoying the performance as well.
During the dance, Dev's jacket falls, and Jatin's sister stumbles, landing on it. He quickly offers her comfort, and Babji witnesses the scene, a look of disappointment crossing his face as Dev touches her feet. Dev suggests a break, and then, they're challenged to a game of antakshari. Dev readily accepts the invitation. Parth, still reluctant to dance, receives an idea from Dev, perhaps a way to participate without fully engaging.
A Night Of Antakshari And Unspoken Tensions
Mihir and Tulsi share a moment of intimacy, but the peace is disrupted when Mihir notices Tulsi shivering. Noina arrives at the gate, prompting Tulsi to investigate. Upon opening the gate, Tulsi asks if Noina needs anything. Noina claims she has some work to do, and Tulsi goes to get Mihir.
Noina then reveals that she was just walking around, searching for her ring. Insecurity washes over her as she witnesses Mihir and Tulsi together in bed. Tulsi reminds Noina that they've maintained the facade of being husband and wife in front of everyone. She points out that her situation is different from Noina's.
The girls call for Tulsi to join them for antakshari, and they invite Noina as well. Noina suggests they take Tulsi, and Mihir wakes up.
Mihir expresses his desire to join the game, his excitement palpable. He then tells Noina to go and sleep while he joins Tulsi for antakshari.
Antakshari Night: Songs of Joy and Sorrow
The scene shifts to the antakshari game, where the girls begin to sing, setting the stage for an evening of music and emotion. The boys attempt to sing, but before they get a chance, Dev takes over, capturing everyone's attention.
Babji inquires about Dev, and Mihir reveals that Dev is his grandchild. The revelation triggers memories, as Pari remembers her mother and Tulsi is reminded of her daughter. Mihir then takes his turn, singing a song that captivates everyone present.
Gaurav challenges Tulsi to sing next. Tulsi hesitates, but the girls urge her to participate, fearing they will lose. Babji encourages her to sing, and Tulsi begins. Her song resonates deeply, evoking a sense of pain in everyone listening.
