Suniel (63) is perfect for the part. I mean his real daughter debuted 11 years ago in Bollywood. He is going to be a grandfather soon. I must say he looks terrific for his age.Would love to see more of him in such roles.

Mahima (51) has a 17 year old daughter in real life, who would probably debut in a couple of years, just like Rasha. So she fits the bill too.

Jugal is literally 52 years old, and debuted as a young actor, 31 years ago in 1994. He is playing his age.

Only Dia (43) is young and the odd one out here. But she anyways stopped getting lead parts years ago, which is why she has probably taken this route.

My point of view wasn’t about their chronological ages but rather how they looked. Sunil Shetty looks great but he looks the part of a father of adults, as he is one. The other three just do not like they could have adult children.

They've cast Dia and Jugal Hansraj to get millennials to watch this film. He was too pretty and chocolatey in Mohabbatein, in an unmanly way but now with the grey hair he looks quite good.

That's why till now Madhuri has never done any mother roles (as far as I remember) after she shifted to India as she doesn't want to get type casted I think.

In fact Kareena has played n Jaane Jaan, Buckingham murders, Singham etc.

Actually, Madhuri at least once became a mother of a young daughter in a movie although she loses her daughter throughout the movie. It was Rahul Rawail's Anjaam where she avenges what the SRK character Vijay all did to her...a very powerful woman-role

well dia is 43 years old and likely her character will be in her 40's, and i'm assuming ibrahim age will 18 or 19 yrs old in the movie as it's showing him in high school or maybe college, so that means her character had him when she was around 24-25 yrs old, so it is believable. Even kareena could play a mother to an older kid as she is 44.

And mahima is 51 yrs old, so she also at the age where she can play the mother to an older child.

You know it very well it is about ageism which female actors in the entertainment industry face. Dia's costar Madhavan in his 40's was romancing Kangana.
