He has always disliked singh and he never minced his words about his dislike for him either..i do remember everything became about ranveer during the release..he was actually brilliant but shahid was no less either..he had a good role and he performed brilliantly too..dp actually had the worst role but they have solid PR and they milked padmavat as their movie alone and shahid distanced himself from the project. The very next year, he shut them all with KS but he was robbed again when he wasn't awarded for it which he totally deserved instead they gave it to none other than singh for gully boy..

He was actually good in Padmavat. I liked his acting very much.

Ranveer and Deepika have a strong PR which they utilize all the time. At the same time Padmavat had a lot of controversy during production and pre-release time which put more focus on Deepika than anyone else. Some of the attention going towards Deepika, and then Ranveer, went beyond just PR manipulations. Unless Shahid is talking about SLB as well, which makes it a bigger problem than just costars not getting along.

Why do Sunny, Shahid play the "Good guy" and then b*tch about it? You know the Bad guy is going to walk away all the accolades, it's just how it goes....even if it's Monotone Sunil Shetty in Dhadkan or a 2 film old PC in Aitraaz. Even Pacino/De Niro can't save the good guy. Either don't play the roles or stop talking about it after.

There was a movie w Pacino and De Niro called Heat. Al Pacino was the good guy and Robert De Niro was the bad guy and everyone thought he was more likable

shahid wasn't convincing in padmavat. ranveer though not a great role or anything was certainly convincing.
