Because in the script Bilal Abdullah is 3rd lead. Shrinking episodes will make the show more watchable but it won't change what cktrs are supposed to do.

Also not dragging wont change the ott sensationalistic dated tone of the show which is a huge problem. Krq scripts work best when the Director pulls back on the ott and keeps it restrained.

Sadaf- maya or new actor

Humsha- Hira

Ammar- usama

Dania- Amar khan

Year mein ek hi show kiya wahaj and kya sochke yeh script diya kadwani ne wahaj ko? Four episodes mein hai hi nahi so called main lead and less said about bilsad scenes or story. Like you said 10 scenes in 30 episodes.

They wanted to make a drama for Maya & Usama, but they knew that both don't have much appeal online, & drama will flop on YT, so they cast Wahaj Ali so the drama gets some views on YT. This same strategy, I think, they are applying in Sanwal Yaar Piya by casting Feroze Khan in the drama.

Geo wanted to recreate mere pass tum ho. Humayun- wahaj,,, ayeza- maya,,, hira in hira character,,, usama in adnan siddiqui … usama was never the main lead because ammar character can never be the main one.

wahaj hira usama are the ones who started shoot first in November and maya started in January. My guess is she is the last but one to be casted and they announced it on 9th dec. Shahvir is the last one casted.

Usama is the main ML lead of this drama. Wahaj supporting role could have been played by anyone if Usama were popular online.

Someone was saying in twitter that Sadaf's divorce was supposed to get over by 15 episodes according to 26 episodes script..but its happening in 30 episodes...omg just imagine the level of dragging that has been done for views

Having most screentime in one track doesn't make him the male lead...He is not the hero but a pathetic guy..(that's what is mentioned by KRQ)

He's unlikely to get happy ending but he's still the main lead as story of SMD revolves around Sadaf & him. In some dramas not the main ML but the 2nd ML lead or supporting character gets happy ending.

i think the question was rubbish. KRQ is obviously not backing ammar and everything he said was shown in bad light. people can't understand a simple thing.

anyway i think they are spending too much time in showing ammar's emotions nowadays. he comes home, stares at walls and cries etc.
