ammar is a psycho character. it's okay to enjoy a psycho character. you can hate him but he is a major part of the storyline.

this is what i'm saying. SMD won't be SMD without ammar. usama should own it.

you are talking like ammar is a black character and sadaf is white character. but this is not the reality if watch it as a neutral viewer.

This is casting issue. They needed a better and maybe more established actor in Ammar"s role and someone equal in Bilal"s role. People will be sick of me citing Manjali but it had Mikaal in Ammar"s role and Faris Shafi in Bilal's role. Because it was Mikaal some people even liked Mehwish Mikaal chemistry even tho they were playing roles just like Sadaf and Ammar. If the makers were interested in telling the story that KRQ wrote, Wahaj would never have been casted as Bilal Abdullah.

i think casting is fine. promotion is faulty.

Even if the character is evil, your performance should still rivet people. People should hate your character but they should want to watch your scenes, where they can get angry at the character and root against him/her. If people can't stand to watch your scenes on the screen, it is a failure of performance writing and execution.

Ammar is neither likable,nor enjoyable.He is a despicable.A wife beater is not flawed,but an abuser.He has been very problematic from first episode.He kept disturbing Sadaf after she said no to him by coming to her home or calling her used Dania for money when he knew she had feelings for him.His misogyny couldn't take no for an answer so he kept threatening Sadaf with Suicide by joining hands with Hamsha.He came between Sadaf and Bilal.Sadaf has made her intentions very clear with him,but every time he saw Sadaf going to meet Bilal he uses to cry like a little bich like Sadaf was cheating on him.And If he didn't make the drama of fake suicide and Hamsha guilt tripping Sadaf for it,there was no way Sadaf would have decided to marry him even after she said no to Bilal believing Hamsha's lies.Sadaf started to have feelings for Bilal,but Hamsha and Ammar did everything they could to separate them.Ammar was always portrayed as a bad person and as one if sadaf's hard lessons for rejecting Bilal,he was never portrayed as Lead and no matter how many days he shot for it won't change that.

Even if character is psycho or black or orange viewers should still want to watch your scenes on their screens. If people cannot stand to see your scenes and skip them, something is gone wrong. These viewers may just drop the show after a while.

negative/flawed/grey characters are also a part of storyline. this is what makes a show interesting to watch. i like this show as a whole and i enjoy watching all characters. i don't skip anyone's scenes.
