Well...about the "roars" in cinemas, I don't know...here in IF, there aren't...

Did someone here watch the Hindi version already (with the Khans' voices)?...with the restricted screens (yeah, Pushpa 2 still needs some crores), the Hindi version at least made some crores yesterday...

This was a movie which didn’t need to be made to solve the doubts that never were there in the first place. Nobody questioned why Scar was vengeful and mean towards his brother because these kind of sibling politics are a norm in every royal households. Plus they clearly changed the story by making Mufasa and Scar adopted siblings. Because they established them as real brothers in the original. Multiple incidents come to mind.Scar sarcastically mentions how he got the Lion share of brains from their parents while Mufasa got the strength. He hated even the sight of Simmba because apparently before Simba’s birth he was the first in line for the throne after Mufasa. He even talks about how his brother beat him to the throne by coming to the world before him. Bottomline, scar was just a mean ,vengeful ,power hungry sibling and didn’t need any backstory to justify his actions. Now with this prequel they somehow made Mufasa, Scar’s parents and even Mufasa’s wife Sadami a reason for how the loving brother Taka turned into a vengeful villain Scar that we know of and the way the flip happened in a matter of seconds wasn’t even convincing to begin with.

Phew…rant over!😆

Big thanks for the "rant" (personal review) and - from my side - no problem with the spoilers. Which language version did you watch?

I hope that there will be a possibility to watch the Hindi version of the movie (of course not possible in my germanophone area)... the movie as such isn't what incites me but listening to AbRam, Aryan and SRK voicing the characters would be a pleaure to me smiley1

I saw the 3D version of this movie.

It's kind of a boring movie, though I liked the jungle setup and the visuals. Lions just keep on running throughout the movie. Kung fu is much better than this movie.
