Rahi pleads Prem to marry Mahi for the sake of Anu maa who was like his mother . Prem refuses to marry some one he did not love .
. Baa accuses Anupama for bringing Prem to this house .They all accuse Prem for this . Anupama accuses them for being unconcerned for Mahi . They did not care for her . Pakhi accuses Prem for time passing with Rahi and Mahi both . Ansh blames Prem for what happened to Mahi.
Anupama states that if Mahi has fallen for Prem how is it Prem’s fault ? Such things happen to youngsters in this age . Rahi comes and asks them to stop blaming Prem and Anupama . If Mahi loves Prem then how is it other’s fault ? Anupama assures she will explain to Mahi and it will take time and asks Shah family members to be patient n remain calm .
Later Anupama weeps for Mahi . Rahi consoles Weeping Maa. Anu shares her woes with Rahi . She feels scared for Mahi who is obsessed with Prem. She is scared for her suicidal tendencies. She regrets not talking to Prem earlier n clarifying the issue . Rahi sings Lori and calms Anu
Rahi places the peacock brooch besides Mahi and assures Mahi will get Prem . Rahi gets teary eyed and caresses sleeping Mahi .
Prem comes to bid goodbye to Anupama . He gets emotional , she calms him and asks him not to feel guilty as this was not his fault , he never gave Mahi reason to think he loved her , he treated Mahi exactly like he behaved with Ishaani, Pari and Ansh . He apologises for Anupama . Anupamaa states Mahi is not at fault , her age is such . She does not stop Prem n asks him to do as he wished , she has no reason to stop him. She blesses him as he takes leave .mRahi watches him leave n gets emotional .
Prem wants to meet Mahi for the last time . Anu and Raahi are hesitant but Anu agrees . She prays to Kanhaji to do the right thing .
Prem meets Mahi n apologises to her , he did not know what he did to lead her on to believing he loved her .
Mahi states he is her entire world . She can’t live without him she asks him the reason why he did not fall in love with her !
