Chalo putting aside the dumb loopholes, I'm a bit more impressed with today's episode. It felt more like a CID episode. There were some good twists and turns, more teamwork, and the new officers seemed a bit better today versus yesterday. There was more investigative work as well. DCP Chitrole was just slightly better than this Harshvardhan. Like a smidge better. He was more comic, while Harshvardhan is just hateworthy right now.

Personally I'm liking this changed Pankaj. Even in the first season of CID he was a good investigator, they just made him into a clown. And now they've gotten rid of that dumb foolery and are focusing on his strong investigative skills. Kudos to them. This new PH has taken CID as we know it and improved it where needed, but mostly kept intact where not needed. I'm still sore over the Abhijeet-Daya fiasco from the first episode.

I'm not sure why Shreya is being shown so much suddenly and how she's Abhijeet's daughter, but I'll hold on my reviewing this part of the new season until a few more episodes. I want to see if they're just showing Abhijeet's personal family life more or will they show everyone's personal life more.

I didn't point out these things because I haven't been on a plane till now so I didn't know if you have CCTVs there or if there are such seat numbers. Regarding calling function, I'm calling it a creative liberty (albeit a stupid one) because ye log pehle bhi do-teen baar aisa kar chuke hain last season mein.

Besides, if they can show Dr. Salunkhe "tasting" a random powder to check if it is a drug (like a collossal idiot) then this is still a smaller loophole as compared to that one.

Definitely... This one was still better compared to the first one. The first episode was simply a rushed one; just jumping from one point to another.DCP Chitrole was indeed more comic and even if we disliked him, we could at least laugh at his antics or make fun of him. This one was a straight up a-hole who is just hate worthy. I don't know if we'll come across him in any future episodes or not; I personally hope not.

I am also liking this changed Pankaj quite a bit. In last season, both him and Freddy were good investigators but in order to add some "comic factor" they turned these two characters into complete jokers; getting scared at the drop of a hat, doing ridiculous antics and so on. Yes, a bit of comic relief is needed but not at the expense of the characters (unless that character is Chitrole).

Don't even have me start on the whole Abhijeet-Daya thing... When the promo came, I was expecting that they'll at least show this thing for one or two episodes just like they used to do last season. But let alone one whole episode, it was resolved in mere minutes. That was ridiculous... They had such a strong topic and they didn't even make a decent episode out of it??

I don't have any expectations that they'll show everyone's personal lives. Shreya was shown adopted by Abhijeet last season... But surprisingly, whenever Abhijeet's life was in danger last season, we didn't have any such moment of a daughter worrying for her father. They kind of forgot her back then.

I don't know how much more they'll show Shreya like this but I just wish they showed others' personal lives too.
