100% this! Look at all the recent blockbusters and there is one common theme - the leads have ample screen space together. In my opinion, they had to know this was a risk. Personally I’m okay waiting for their journey but most people aren’t. Wahaj can’t do an Iqtidar type because that itself is a Tere Bin type. Nobody would have wanted to see that again with another female lead and it might have been rejected and even if they somehow accepted it, the same kind of views would have been considered a failure for him…just like people don’t seem impressed with SMD’s views but they’re fairly impressive for most other artists.

i have been watching maya since ek nayee cindrella and aunn zara days. i used to really like osmaya. her chemistry with obi and sherry are better than her chemistry with wahaj. i also really like bilal and may in yunhi. many ppl did not like yunhi but i thought it was a really good drama. maya acting was iffy in the first few episodes but she was good e8 onwards. that drama was slow paced but not like smd. yunhi was very soothing to watch like sailiing in a boat in a river on a nice spring day.

Similarly Wahaj's better chemistry is with obviously Yumna and Madiha. I also liked him with Hiba in Fitoor and Neelam when she didn't used to look like a zombie. Unpopular opinion but even his scenes with Hira in SMD aren't eyesores like the Sadaf-Ammar ones.

But in JN danish and Hiba were barely there. The leads seems to be somebody else. I think Wahaj will be fine post this. But, he really needs to be careful selecting script now. If he still selects bad script post this then I will worry about him

JN is a unique case. It was Deewangi ka sequel. Daniba are very popular onground. People watched JN for a glimpse of them. Agar TB2 main bhi Yumhaj scenes kam honge, toh ppl will watch for them.

Hmm might be true. Its the pair that worked in case of JN.

By the way offtopic but what do you think about Farahaan? I feel his hype also has gone down doing back to back projects with HUM.
