I don't understand Why somkaran is keeping quiet

He had monolgue before that Bhagwan Valmiki hide this truth so there must be something important in it. Hence he is not telling to Luv Kush.

But he hiding the fact that Kuv Kush abandon Yagya horse is beyond my understanding
