Lol, the contrast is rather comical and captured well. It is obviously a lot to do with how both couples are perceived too.

Yes! I also think, "let Ranbir be". Honestly, I would have wished him another life-partner...both are messed-up in their own way...and their couple is in NO way as 'healthy' and loving as Saif and Kareena... the moment a camera is near to the couple, Alia acts up and Ranbir tries to get along...

Alia is too good for Ranbir honestly.

The scrutiny of RK is unfair, but somewhat common now. They (Ranbir & Alia) are fully aware of EVERYTHING being dissected.

Kareena wouldn’t target her own cousin, she’s pretty fiercely loyal of her own family. I think it’s preconceived notions of Ranbir and Alia as a couple coming into play here. People are quick to judge and assume the worst about celebs especially if social media already has spread notions about Ranbir being toxic.

Social media didn’t spread anything about Ranbir. Ranbir himself put that out there for the whole world to see through his words and behavior.

- He called his pregnant wife fat

- He told her to wipe off her lipstick

- He talked about her voice being too loud

- He wished that their daughter wouldn’t become like her mother.

- He told her she couldn’t be a good photographer because she doesn’t love anyone else but herself

- He joked about leaving her at Kumbh Mela while they were flying there for one day.

- He kicked her dupatta with his feet because he couldn’t be bothered to bend down and pick it up or at least call her to pick it up.

- He said he married her because she molds herself to whatever he wants her to be.

These are all toxic behaviors and none of them are speculative or conjuncture. They’re all from the horse’s mouth or his Mrs.

Ranbir himself has created a situation where his behavior with his wife is constantly being watched now. That’s why he was extra touchy and clingy and helpful while they were posing. And it worked because there are plenty of social media posts about how cute they are etc etc. When Saif and Kareena had an organically cute moment, it went viral. I agree that Alia stood up before Ranbir and there isn’t anything wrong or problematic with what Ranbir did or allegedly didn’t do. But because he has a history of disrespecting her in public, it just became another angle of comparison between a loving couple and Alia & Ranbir. Alia’s face, which kind of looked mad and stern in that moment didn’t help either.

Every little thing he does is blown out of proportion.

Not a Ranbir fan but if you watch the whole video he stood up and immediately turned to help the elders sitting on chairs stand up. That part is being ignored

The only thing causing an issue seems to be Alias expression but she always looks annoyed/confused when not posing for pictures.

It doesn't take away from the Saifeena moment who are still so cute together.

Ranbir Kapoor himself is responsible for this. His actions and conduct in public is full of incidents which are condemnable, offensive, objectionable, misogynistic and at times immoral. He makes such statements or acts in such ways which invites public contempt.

Saif simply won hearts of people by his simple action. It took a simple effort. That's what counts
