I feel that was the entire point of that whole scene. Somewhere Abhira needed that closure & Ruhi needed that validation & Ruhi ke darr ko bhi Abhira ne address kiya. That scene would have been just that much more impactful had they kept it after Abhira came back from the hospital, rather than so all this when Ab knows Ar is fighting for his life

At least Ruhi got what she needed from someone even if it's Abhira. Sometimes new mom's need assurance, not constant taunts. Koi Poddars ko sikhaye.
