Leena is not interested in redeeming Ani. I think she needs the audience to rally behind Jhanak's solo journey for a bit... So despite being aware that Jhanak loves him, Ani will backtrack and apologize to Arshi for not being with her. This is significant and makes it crystal clear that Leena will run regression cycles on Ani at will forever to keep Arshi relevant. So now with everything fine and dandy between Ani and Arshi, there is no need for a fake pregnancy. Based on the events so far, this will be a real pregnancy to further validate Jhanak's position that Ani is not earnest.

I see your points about viewers perspective on all this with Ani/Arshi marriage not being legal... I guess only ratings will dictate what comes next!

LOL no, I don't think it has anything to do with channel....ITA nominations and awards usually depend on a mix of personal PR and PH doing some kind of advocacy for the show. This PH has never done any advocacy for Jhanak....lol bas milestones celebrate karne ke liye cake kaat lete hain but other than that there is no attempt to hype the show/characters anywhere cuz story doesn't lend itself to that

In this case, I guess somehow Krushal's performance and the work of the Jhanak director broke through enough that ITA waale organically nominated them....warna I don't see Krushal having any PR in place to promote himself so this is an achievement to get a nomination even without that.

I was thinking the other day that no matter how shit the writing is director always made sure that runak scenes are special . Even in 40 minutes episode he did put serious efforts for them. So nomination to Banta hai .....writers ke liye toh sirf jutti banti hai

true - I will def be gone. What if it was consensual and Arshi has a miscarriage late? Will viewers watch even till that point? For me I'm about to call it quits now after the CA Ani is doing in the BTS. i hope they are not going the force shaadi by Ani out of desperation to keep J like filing her maang or something like that. No way J will accept Ani without Arshi leaving.

If Ani goes back to Arshi and Arshi Ani have a baby, then they are both done right? Jhanak is the lead, if she is out of their equation, Ani Arshi become irrelevant. So story wont go that route.

Being insecure is natural but maybe I would have appreciated if this has played out in a better setting…. I am not clutching at straws. I knew that they will have to separate cos there is currently no trigger to solve Jhanak’s and Ani’s conundrum. Ani is not able to find the will within to break it to Arshi that they aren’t compatible and is looking to end their arrangement. Jhanak is not looking to hook up with him even if he is contemplating this as she doesn’t know how the stigma of Shristi’s daughter will wipe off..Ani is looking for encouragement that she will support him which isn’t forthcoming so it is a clear stalemate. Stalemate in stories can only break when there is either a change in paradigm or if there is an attempt to come down from held position… So something had to give

What I dont understand is why Ani even cares whether J asked Adi to come to Calcutta or not? Now she is rejecting Adi right? She is clear she does not want to marry Adi in front of everyone. So why does he think she is lying. Because she wants to marry Adi while keeping Ani in the dark. What does that get her. She has already refused Ani's request to marry him once he leaves Arshi?

The writers have lost alll sense. Ani not believing J even whil Appu di and Minu are offering a perfectly plausible reason plus J herself refusing marriage with Adi - certifies him as untrustworthy and emotionally unstable.

I don't think they will have a baby either, but I suspect the pregnancy will be real. And I really really hope I'm wrong!

LOL that show was named Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil....and incidentally that was the only show of his I had watched until I watched his stint as Abhimanyu in YRKKH.

He evolved PHENOMENALLY as an actor in that role so this award is totally deserved for the level of performance he delivered for a script that scapegoated him to prop up FL and her achha aadmi journey .....I have a big soft corner for Abhi's character for the level of tragedy they made out of him....his intensity was misjudged as toxic in order to victimize the FL and whitewash her various dumb acts....and he was forever punished for one day of lashing out in grief as if it was the end of the world....Stan Twitter has tried to make an example out of him since a long time constantly bashing him as worst ML ever blah blah so it's a hilarious slap on their faces to see him winning FOUR awards in a row for that role....one whole year after the character ended

It was an acting masterclass watching him in this role and the way he navigated the nuances....so yeah, well deserved even if I do feel bad for Krushal not getting his chance

The best situation will be staging fake pregnancy as the current MU clears and inability on Arshi and evils' parts to keep Ani away from J..

...Runak fandom is concerned about Runak or J or Anirudh...what are we supposed to do with Arshi's MC?? In Imlie, it was shown that ML and PL were in relationship, then married and had regular marrital relationship and then ML fell for FL...here, love already blossomed between ML and FL before ML ties the knot with PL...which is again legally invalid...so, showing consensual marrital rishta between Anishit atp will not be accepted by Runak fandom as well as by conservation trp aunties...that's why the frequent mention of Runak ki shaadi being the valid one...So in my view, makers know it very well that they have to 'trap' Ani...if he willingly gives in to Arshi, it's a suicide for the running of the show..

...filling maang of J ka situation kaise ayega I don't know...mujhe dikh nahi Raha...abhi to dono me kalesh chalega...aur Arshi jab tak hai, J will keep Ani away from her, even if somehow they're married..
