And you’re right there is attraction, but I saw nervousness and excitement more than anything. And it was supposed to be obvious because everyone was noticing it including Sadaf. So here, it was confirming what Humsha was saying.

Most of the people are saying script is bad which I agree with...but somehow or the other,it keeps the viewers engaged and hooked.....

Also,the reviews I see is flooded with overcriticism which I feel is very unnecessary...the way each and every scene is scrutinized about the show doesn't make sense..at the end of the day,its just entertainment not a social drama or progressive path breaking love story..People really need to digest that.

Actually so called critics like sh, kdh and people have been too over critical about wahaj. Not just his shows and performance have been scrutinized but he also gets hate because of his offscreen actions or relationships.

Mein wasn't that bad of a show that it was made out to be. Most of us from this thread have watched and discussed that show and we had too much fun during it's airtime. Yes wahaj didn't had a good role but overall the show was entertaining and we were hooked. Not to forget despite huge criticism the show had super hit ratings and 10m views on all its episodes.

The show was entertaining but Wahaj's popularity was misutilized...I mean his character was so badly written that no one even considered his role even a parallel lead...he was a side role and Wahaj being an A lister taking such roles was not expected

But here Bilal Abdullah is the main hook of the show ...his character is loved and discussed everywhere.

Yes zaid wasn't a meaty role but towards the end of the show all eyes were on him because everybody thought that he'd have to choose between one of his wife's and be the endgame with only one of them.

Mein wasn’t bad at all. Wahaj was just sidelined. The problem for me was, and I say this not just as a Wahaj fan but as someone watching the show, I felt Zaid’s perspective was needed for the sake of the story. Still it did well.

Even SMD is getting views. It’s entertainment at the end of the day and is made to bring in viewers, not satisfy 4 - 5 reviewers. Trps aren’t great but over 10 millions viewers per episode means it’s entertaining a fair share of people.

@bold Exactly this..last week,even I was thinking that Wahaj should do something else instead of portraying one sided lover..but I've realized that he has played every character differently..and he can't work only to satisfy 4-5 reviewers...his main target should be to impress different type of audience who likes to watch different genres....and his filmography till now has been very diverse..from a heartbroken hero to angry young man to a freedom fighter to a guy next door..he has played every role brilliantly...so people should be a bit lenient on him..

Mein wasn't bad but I feel like Zaid could have played by any other ML except A lister like Wahaj...but everyone can't play Bilal Abdullah or Murtasim...

I don’t find the gaze lustful... More like "in awe"... Like whenever he sees her for the first few seconds he can't believe she is finally in front of him... I never found his look to be sexual or vulgar

I too never found it creepy or vulgar or sexual....but there is a certain attraction/lust from his side.....TBH I dont find anything to be criticised in Wahaj's performance...the show itself is melodramatic and the expressions has to be OTT sometimes.
